In my mind, one-way aisles would alternate. You go down one aisle one way, then back the other way on the next. That wasn’t how my local Walmart had them set up though. I never did figure out a rationale for it. They’d have two lanes go west, then one go east, another go west, then 3 go east.

I was a cashier for a while, and I would actually get annoyed sometimes with the cashiers (though I’d keep it to myself) because I literally could do it faster than they were, and bag them better. So, I’m not against using self-checkout. However, I do have issues with the self-check as it currently stands.

Ever Given was one ship (just like Ever Forward). Evergreen is the name of the company.

But even if oil prices stay down (or drop more) the decrease in prices at the pump will take much, much longer. Unlike the immediate increases when there are even rumors of production or supply issues.

I’d actually prefer a PHEV right now because I do go on longer drives, but a small battery would cover my drive to and from work most of the places I work. Unfortunately I also want it to be an SUV because of the camping trips I go on. They’re expensive right now, too. That X5 starts at $63k (without markups). The

The defendant’s crime was not walking around the counter. That’s stupid. His crime literally met the definition of manslaughter, but the prosecutor surprisingly gave them a break and charged with less. It was assault & battery at a minimum, which lead to death.

Rittenhouse’s “victims” started with an idiot racist asshole named Rosenbaum who chased Rittenhouse down after threatening to kill him. The others acted upon their limited information and attacked Rittenhouse later. Hell, Rittenhouse had even told Grosskreutz he was going to the police and Grosskreutz still went after

The 77 year old man sounds like he was a terrible person (sex offender and racist), but seriously people? So many people here HAPPY this kid killed a man. Killed a man over something he said (as stupid and terrible as it was).

I’m not in Florida, nor am I a lawyer, but I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a state that required intention to kill for manslaughter charges. In fact, causing death without intention seems to be the primary reason people are charged with manslaughter rather than murder.

And used cars are (usually) significantly cheaper than new, that’s correct. However, we’ve also seen the average prices of USED cars increase significantly over the past two years. In fact, Jalopnik has done several articles about it, as recently as 11 days ago which indicated a 40% increase just in the last year.

This morning it showed 47 verified, 67 playable, and 806 not tested for me. Now I have 49 verified, 68 playable, 13 unsupported, and 802 not tested.

Nobody is claiming inflation doesn’t exist, but you were the one who brought up inflation in regards to Netflix’s price increasing.

I don’t even have a 4K TV yet. My parents do, and they are on my same account, but primarily I’m paying the higher rate for the 4 concurrent streams so that I, my parents, and my sister’s family can all watch.

Not only that, but there’s also the annoyance that you don’t even get the option to release more than one at a time until after you’ve filled 4 pastures.

Had an apartment complex charge for screen door and window frame damage that we reported when we moved in. The hole in the screen door, and the windows that wouldn’t open were literally documented on the check-in paperwork before we moved in. Yet when we moved out, they charged for a replacement screen door, and a

...and other comments below state the 90k battery was a loaner while awaiting the new (3rd) battery pack, so they actually wouldn’t have paid for any of the batteries (aside from in the initial purchase price of the vehicle).

They only would have paid for the third battery, so I’m not sure why you’re multiplying that by 2. The first one was in the car, the second came as a warranty replacement, and the third is the 621k+ mile one.

Considering the first battery came with the car, the second came in the replacement under warranty, wouldn’t it only be one battery pack they’ve paid for (and that’s if it wasn’t replaced under warranty itself at half the miles of the original battery)?
