moot point (even if it wasn't a kit) since Lambo never put a wing on a Countach themselves - the wings were all the work of dealers trying to get the Canonball Run (even tho the cars in the movies were kits) look that customers wanted.

to be fair, he didn't exactly make a cock of himself in this

Only 15 years behind the likes of Australia.

If I was going to buy one of Ludo's crazy creations (they are all bat shit insane really) I'd get the trike/quads based on an R1 engine rather than a suspect Ferrari one. The BMW v12 powered version might tempt me however.

Given "AirWolf" was shipped to Europe and ended up as a medical transport helicopter before crashing and killing 3 people in Germany - not likely.

You are making the mistake of believing the "206 kw" / 276hp gentleman's agreement not to publicly state any Japanese engine made more power than that. The Evo 8 MR was generally accepted to be 330 - 350 real hp at the crank.

My point was a Brit spec evo 9, made 402 hp at the crank - stock, on essentially the same engine. A tuned engine should make a fair bit more - generally speaking.

I just put that down to being a US built model and not a Brittish built v8.

Sounds like a fun project.

Suzuki actually, based on dual Hyabusa engines modified into a v8.

That is the site where custom LEGO model makers submit their creations to become official LEGO kits. If enough people say they would buy the kit, LEGO considers producing them and the original designer gets a small % from every one sold.

Every piece in his creations can be ordered from the LEGO parts catalogue.

Eye witnesses are horribly un-reliable for this kind of thing. Interview 4 people, and 1 will swear it was a Ford Crown Vic, another a Mazda 3, another a Chevy Malibu and maybe one will say a Pontiac of some kind - and that's after showing them photo's of each model.

If you are on the paved roads - you are fine as long as you can do 300km (just under 200 miles) on a tank. It can get kind of sketchy when doing serious high speed runs (especially on a bike). The unpaved roads are a different story. Even when travelling on some of the paved roads it can be entertaining. Once had to

Very complex car, clearly owned by someone that didn't give a fuck about it.

What do you build if you are a golf pro with tons of cash and some good taste?

This has been an issue in F1 for many years.

The Apple years without Steve Jobs comes to mind

Bonus points for spelling the country's name correctly.
