Fastforward 15 years.

Doesn't really count since it's not factory, but I'm posting it because *Jalopnik* - custom made for Stuart Appleby - I present to you his M5 ute.

So the turbo bit on the end makes you blow your load?

I lived there for 3 years. Banked a nice stash and never paid a cent in income tax. Not saying it was an ideal place to live, but it meets the requirements in toyotasupraman's original post.

Skip to the 7:30 mark and see TopGear Australia run the same car with 22's and 20's and see the performance difference.

Not strictly true, they'll still build you one of them if you are willing to pay enough.

Zero taxes (If shipped to one of the US ports) and a 20ft container of freight only costs $15k (don't ask why I know that). Hardly the worst place since the sales tax alone in Australia would be more than that.

Add in RHD conversion costs and it can get damn expensive quite fast.
Still won't match Singapore for import taxes however.

And yet it's dead easy to never pay a cent in income tax. I've got no problems with a sales tax if my base income is left alone.

Singapore?

Caparo T1 might have something to say about that claim.

Glad I'm not the only one here that knows about these insane creations.

In Australia, if you are driving, you do not have the right to refuse a breath test. If you do, you get the fine equal to the max high range drink driving penalty immediately (I think it's around $3000 these days) and then you get to explain to a magistrate why you refused a test.

Different rules for different countries.

So please, watch these traffic stop videos responsibly, and remember that drunk-driving checkpoints are legal in the interest of public safety, at least here in the US.

Senna being good friends with the Castiglioni family and Massimo Tamburinin certainly didn't hurt.

Not knowing how drunk you are is a public safety / education point.

While that is accurate for today, in the 60's they were essentially 2 different companies, whose only point of similarity was that Holden got access to US sourced engines and gearboxes.
