Tale as old as time
Yes, Cersei is a fantastic anti-hero and will only get better through seasons 4 and 5. The Blackwater episode from season 2, where she nearly poisons Tommen - perfect.
Arya is slowly becoming an Anti-hero.
She is the definition of a homeric hero. Nothing anti about her.
Ahaha. Let me guess, she also hated drama. It just followed her around, y'know, not her fault!
A very easy way to know for sure would have been to bring up the trash-talk while out with those friends. I'm sure if you said, "Hon, I don't think Mary dresses like a whore with a bad weave" in front of Mary (substitute proper friend name) you'd get a very quick answer whether she believes in social lying.
You're making my skin crawl. I did the SAME thing last night, unintentionally. On a first date, no less!
I'd call Cersei the best female anti-hero in ASOIAF, personally. She does some terrible things, but I can't help but admire her cunning while she's doing it.
I had my doubt but the show was amazingly funny after I gave it a try.
Shhh, come on, we allllllllllllllll know the last episode never happened at the very least - especially the last 20min. :///////
I would have asked her a slew of really uncomfortable questions just to see what kind of information I could get out of her. That'll teach her the importance of lying. :)
Ayra Stark is TOTALLY an anti-hero. Just, for people on show-only-mode, that's not been revealed clearly yet. Right now she's just angry, but it's still a powerless, sad, thrashing anger.
I lie all the time about little things (saying I don't feel well when I'd rather just stay in, etc.), and, of course, sometimes about big things, but I feel like I'm terrible at the more all-purpose lying that supposedly makes civilization run smooth. I do not say this with pride because it gets me all of nowhere.
greta gerwig is beautiful and strange and a total badass! i am so happy that she exists!
Given all the abuse Lena Dunham has got for Girls, can you blame her (or any young woman) for worrying that their experiences aren't 'valid' to write about?
Love Nurse Jackie. Merritt Weaver is my favorite.
How's this for a female anti-hero: Starbuck from the new Battlestar Galactica. Holy crap that girl was badass. She sold it. She rocked it. She was a huge reason for the show's success. I'm just wondering how many actresses out there can handle those parts. Not many.
Apt 23 and Happy Endings were really, really funny TO ME. Sad to see the cancellation.
Watermelon. Sweet Jesus, watermelon. With a little sprinkle of salt, you are in for the treat of your life. Also, copious amounts of ice water, maybe with cucumbers or lime.
