This reminds me of those "seasteading" folks who want to build libertarian-paradise cruise ship-states. Somebody showed me a powerpoint from one of them (things seem to be in perpetual "proof of concept" mode) and there was an honest-to-goodness proposal that the ship cruise along the edge of the territorial waters of

I'm opposed to just about anything drone-related and yet the sorta, kinda silver lining of this is that we soon won't have to have bases *anywhere*. We'll launch a drone from a ship or the Midwest and it won't really land, ever. It'll be refueled in-air by tankers (or, heck, refueling drones) and stay aloft for days,

WOW but does that guy in the image look like a tool. My impulse is to take off my shoes, walk into the office very quietly, steal *every frickin' thing of value*, and leave.

Very cool art-wise. But concept wise, y'see . . . my issue with this stuff is that I don't think our real future will consist of enormous war machines or war vehicles. Oh there'll be war, make no mistake. But it'll consist increasingly of little robot drones (either purpose-built or just modified quadrotors that'll

Be like that situation in London where that new glass tower acts as a parabolic mirror that can melt a car:

Damn it!

I think you're really underselling this. I mean, c'mon: A startup that actually fulfills a broad, physical human need rather than just another bullshit way of shuffling low-res photos and brief lines of text around on phones.

Oh and this one too. Be nice if someone had sat the dev team down before they started worked and explained that it helps with the whole "game" mechanic if there were some way—any way—in which a player might lose.

Original Japanese title "Blink."

You lie!! No one's ever beaten NES TMNT.

This. This FAKE Starfox game. It's stepwise, nearly impossible puzzles, most of which could be solved if you could JUST ALLOW ME TO JUMP. Unskippable cutscenes, very few save points. I don't know why I stuck with it so very long. It was one of those games where I had to play with a giant Gamefaqs print-out next to me.

Once you go Green . . .

Boo hoo. No less than you deserve for treason and slaveholding.

Nope. Treason. Can't keep no more slaves. Boo hoo, racist loser.

Boo hoo, can't keep no more slaves.

Plantation slavery was only one form of slaveowning. Lots of folks owned 1-2 slaves the way they now own lawnmowers or rototillers. It was widespread.

Every single state article of secession mentions slavery in the very first sentence for the reason why they are seceding. You lose.

No. The civil war was about slavery. It is mentioned in the first sentence of every single article of secession. Give up.

Thing we *loved* about Japan: Bathtubs an actual human adult can fit into.

Never gets old.
