WELCOME TO MY WORLD

This winter is killing my will to live. I've never before felt so miserable and my anxiety has shot up immensely because I'm constantly worrying about trains running, if high ways are salted, etc.

Times a million

I hate everything.

Sister!

Lil Scrappy. Lil Za. Lil Twist...

I'm 6' tall and paranoid as hell because it makes me stick out like a sore thumb.

I do feel a sense of 'this can't last forever, or there'll be now show," which does make me kind of sad. Must all dramatizations be about getting together or breaking up? Surely a relationship can be made compelling.

OMG I just googled her name to find out who you were talking about and SHE WAS ON NOW & THEN. Amazing.

No, just like men. The point is that for whatever reason it's generally more accepted that guys are going to be gross or jerks, whereas women are "expected" by society to be the opposite.

Umm....didn't Adam have some seriously questionable sex that veered into rape last season? How is he likeable? He is enabling Hannah's mental illness by taking care of her and not empowering her to be responsible for her own care. Hannah needs to take care of herself and her mental illness.

It means you've internalized society's misogyny.

You're like talking to a wall. As I said, Lena Dunham is from New York, went to school in Brooklyn, and attended college at Oberlin. THERE ARE BLACK PEOPLE IN THOSE PLACES, and Asians, and non-rich people, etc. She didn't live in a bubble; my Asian friend was her high school classmate! Moreover, I sincerely object to

I liked what Jessica Williams actually had to say on the subject herself.

Yeah. How dare Lena Dunham not have fixed racism by now. I mean, it's not like HBO hasn't picked up any shows by diverse writers. It's all Dunhams fault and responsibility.

I had an interesting conversation with two of my coworkers about this show today. One (male) was arguing that Adam was the only likeable character on the show. The other (female) was basically agreeing, but said that's the reason she can relate to the show. Her reasoning was that each of the four main characters

The only character I can't stand is Marnie. Rita Wilson has been making her scenes this season enjoyable. I haven't watched the most recent episode so I don't know if she's left...

I hope Gaby Hoffman becomes a permanent fixture on the show because every solid laugh I got out of the show last night was a direct result of something she did.

Marnie's become kind of a joke this season. The focus is so intent on Adam and Hannah that it may as well be called "Couple" instead of "Girls." I hope the next episode broadens the focus back to its original standpoint!

I hate how there are now "seasons" for things like engagements and divorce. I'm sorry, engagements aren't a finite resource grown only during certain times of the year. They aren't fucking nectarines.
