You forgot someone in your ranking! How could you forget Rory? Rory was fraking awesome! (Or is he dragged down in your estimation due to the obvious association with Amy?)

Well, I could continue with a raging fan argument about how wrong you are, which I doubt will do anything to change your mind, or I suppose we could just agree to disagree. I suppose I shall shock the entire internet by going with the second option.
Rogue is too kind. This new Kirk is a reckless “bro” in space. Han Solo is a rogue. Captain Mal is a rogue. New Kirk is just an asshole in space!
Dr. Who is a goofball campy-comedy character.
Hey, the headline said “one of the.” And in the list of contemporary (or future) science fiction heroes that didn’t stand the test of time, the Doctor was never once mentioned. This to me implies that he is one of the implied other ones who can be considered amongst the greatest.
Actually, I’m not sure if there was a single person who ever watched an Indiana Jones movie before who liked the movie.
If this was that important to her, you’d think she would have said something to the filmmakers when they were filming Philosopher’s Stone. It isn’t like the film was made with zero input from her whatsoever. So sorry, J.K., I’ll keep pronouncing it with a t.

Yeah, the glowy gradient I could also do without. But it was the best of a very limited few examples Google image search provided of a worm infested meatball. (Of the NASA type, that is... I don’t want to know what images there may be of other types...)
I do miss the worm. It was a good logo, and is the NASA logo of my childhood!
Ah... While I enjoy Star Wars, I don’t collect the toys, so I hadn’t been following release dates. So I guess this explains the fact that half the action figure aisle was empty pegs when I was there yesterday. (And they are probably all empty pegs again by this point!)
Yeah, but think about it. Something like this? A new Star Wars film? And many people weren’t able to get their toys day one? But they MUST HAVE IT NOW! They can’t wait for the restock at the retail level, which could take a week or two at the least. So as soon as they are done bitching about the arseholes who scalp to…
As someone who owns over 50 different Optimus Prime toys, and who refuses to collect ones that don’t Transform* as that would defeat the purpose of being a Transformer (sorry, Action Master Optimus Prime!) I approve of this cake.
These are my sentiments, as well. Best movie ever? Hell no. As good as the first two? Not even close. Better then the third and fourth films? Hell yes. Would I go see a sequel to Genisys? Indeed I would.
The best part of this one is that, if you stop to think about it, it isn’t Shatner overacting... It’s Kirk! Kirk knows full well that the Enterprise will be back in a few hours, and they’ll be rescued. He’s intentionally playing it up as part of throwing Khan off of his plan.
I know it is probably because this film isn't actually being made with the cooperation of the Boy Scouts of America, and thus this film's suspiciously similar organization can only have suspiciously similar uniforms... but the merit badges being worn directly on the uniform rather then on a sash just looks so bloody…
Colin Baker and Peter Capaldi were both in the show as other characters before becoming the Doctor, so if she is offered a guest role, she should still take it! It won’t preclude her from ever being The Doctor!
In an ideal world, both would move forward. And, indeed, it looks like in the long run this will be the case. But, it we could only get one, I’ll take a Prometheus sequel over a fifth Alien film any day. (Not sure if it is correct to keep calling it “Alien 5” since it is rather ambiguous how, it at all, it fits in…
are you saying that only animated movies made by Disney can be in Kingdom Hearts?
I do hope Trevor keeps the occasional Back in Black. Those are always a highlight of whichever episode they appear in.
