I'm going to still remain cautiously optimistic. Hadn't Lynch already done the work on the nine scripts? So presumably, Showtime still has those. And it isn't as if Lynch personally directed every episode of the original television series. Also, according to the update, Showtime is apparently of the opinion that

Is it selfish? Not at all. As long as she doesn't place any obligations upon her partners to perform any sexual acts upon her even if the other person would rather not. This is not to imply that she should ever be obligated to perform blowjobs in any case. But placing obligations upon others towards you that you are

I know the old EU was pretty much wiped out, but I am surprised at a few exclusions...

Eh, you live in my canon, anyway, which ended with Survivor's Quest, stopping before that New Jedi Order smeg!

Oh god... the Star Trek vs. Doctor Who vote was tough... That was like if I was a parent, and asking me which of my kids I loved more. In the end, though, I had to go Trek, if for no other reason than that was the one I grew up with and loved since I was a child. Where as Doctor Who I only came into in the early 90's,

Is this so people can go to the...

I have so many questions and/or concerns about this...

Scarlet Johanssen as Misa Hayase? I'd rage. But as Lisa Hayes? I am perfectly fine with that.

Now I need to re-read those.

He's got a great money making scheme going on. Turn rich people who won't want to get their own hands dirty, and blackmail them with offerings of brains.

Men in Black 2 overall isn't a bad film on its own, but I do hate what it did to the ending of the first film enough that for a long time, I didn't even own a copy of the second film. I only finally picked it up before the third film came out, so that I could refresh my memory. (The fact that I got it for about $10,

How exactly did that "throw out the best part of the previous story's ending," though? Nothing in Southern Cross did anything to contradict or retcon how the Macross Saga ended.

(Edit: Whoops! This was supposed to be in reply to the original article... But what's done is done, so I shall just leave it here and walk slowly away...)

I liked the fact that it was a little more gritty. They didn't have immediate morally superior answers to the situations they came upon.

Personally, I never cared for Enterprise. But I will admit that I make an exception for In a Mirror, Darkly. Since it has no crossover with the regular universe, I can still discount the rest of the series yet still enjoy it as a little two-part stand alone story.

I agree that Farscape was canceled to soon, but I would argue against including it in this discussion of, "just as it was getting interesting." That implies that for like three and a half seasons it had been rather weak, and only just started picking up towards the end. I rather think that for most of its run it had

It had four seasons and a wrap-up miniseries. How does that qualify as seven seasons?

I'm sorry, no. Terminator could have gotten one or two more seasons and still ended with enough time to leave her available for Game of Thrones.

For items that have more then one version, could you specify which version is up for a vote in the poll? For example, is it Battlestar Galactica (1978) or Battlestar Galactica (2003)? Is it Dune (1984) or Dune (2000)?

Having finally recently watched Twin Peaks (and the film) after meaning to do so for years, I just have to say that this better still happen! After all, I need to find out how Annie is!
