Here's another great British television program that was supposed to air on 1 April 1977, but for some reason or another it got delayed until 20 June! Meaning that the fact that it was a joke was lost on a lot of people, leading them to believe there were some very strange happenings indeed in the scientific community.

I must say, that is the first bit to come out concerning Stewart's impending departure to make me smile.

To really show off the difference on Bruticus, here's a split screen image I once made of the before & after:

Well, to each their own, I suppose. Personally, I'll be happy with the official Arcee, and even shilling out for the Takara version for the vastly superior deco (something I rarely do, but on Arcee it seemed worth it) I'll have only spent half as much on her.

Eh, give me a nine patty burger any day over unnecessary litter on the surface of the moon. (And isn't there better things to spend $850,000.00 or more on, anyway?)

Maybe this'll be good, maybe this'll be bad... who knows? Based on what we know so far, though, I do have one complaint. They changed the daughter's name to Madison? Ordinarily, this wouldn't be such a huge deal. But consider, the line, "Don't go into the light, Carol Anne!" from the original is such an iconic one

Robotech movie? Either it will contain absolutely no elements directly related to the Macross portion of the original animated series, or someone hired one hell of a lawyer to get the rights issues worked out. Because if this is based on Southern Cross or Mospedia, or if it is an original story only inspired by the

God, I loved V back in the day. Still do, come to think of it.

"...and I think he's also a sympathetic character," Dalton contends.

Forget "it could be argued." The commentary track with John Carpenter and Kurt Russell pretty much states it as fact.

I suppose "hate" is a strong word, yet has become somewhat overused to the point where we are desensitized to it and tend to throw it around with less thought then we should.

Well, others have pointed out that it is a public bus company, so they may have had no choice. Still, I suppose nothing would have stopped them from slapping a big, "The views of this ad are not shared by (insert name of San Francisco's transit authority here)" line somewhere under the ad if they'd really wanted to.

Forget Master Bruce... Remember the film The Toy? And the character of Master Bates?

Ah. I was wondering if I was about to get a cool new Scottish neighbor... But I'm over in Western Mass, so I guess not. (Well, it is still theoretically closer than Scotland, I suppose.) In any case, welcome to Massachusetts!

I get that, and if it is for something like "Support Our Schools" or something, awesome. But to have a plate like this, especially without the counterpoint... Well, as I said, it just feels to me like a backhanded state endorsement of that side of the issue. (From your wording, though, I sense you have similar

Indeed, I am happy that there (as yet) seems to be no signs of an initiative to remove the additions.

Don't be too sad! For the most part, I love it here! Out of curiosity, where about will you be located in Massachusetts? Eastern (Boston area), Central (Worchester area) or Western (Springfield area)?

Another poster replied with pretty much the same response, but in a more detailed fashion. You can find my next thoughts in my reply to that poster.

Ah, I didn't know if it was a privately or publically run bus company... I suppose being a publically run one does make it a bit more tricky. Perhaps there should be some requirement that, when ads of such a nature are published, equal time must in some way be given to an opposing viewpoint? (Then, before placing such
