That is an excellent counterpoint to such ads, and I especially love that one of the people involved with the comic is appreciative of it as well.

Here's one I did a while ago...
Nemesis doesn't exist in this Dojo, and TNG ended with Insurrection. (I know I am in the minority, but I actually like that film!) So I am glad that those dress uniforms also showed up in DS9, so I don't have to disavow them. :)
And perhaps the best thing to come from the movie was an expansion of the audiobook from an abridged to an unabridged version.
I hope Rachel comes back sporting a bitchin' eye patch! Of course, this could make it difficult for her to impersonate any of the other clones in the future. (From an in-story viewpoint, not a bad thing!)
I didn't see the film, so I can only comment on it based upon what I have heard... But anyway, why did the book work? It was an excellent story that used the backdrop of a zombie outbreak to tell the story of how humanity reacted to it: on a personal level, on different national levels, and on a global level. It was a…
Yes, because a company making a bad product is a perfect rational for stealing a good product made by that same company.
PG-13? I don't have a problem with that. As many others have said, the original was PG. Granted, that was in a time before PG-13, and if PG-13 had existed then, then it would have likely been given that rating. So really, PG-13 is a good one for the remake to aim for if they were going for a similar tone.
"This house is clean!" My arse it is! She should be fired from the psychic medium business. Hope they got a refund from her after their house imploded in on itself.
Oh god, that's the one scene in Poltergeist that I've always had (and still have) trouble watching. (Never been into overly gory stuff.) Awesome movie for the rest of it... but for that one scene, it is "avert your eyes" time for me...
.
As a glasses wearer, personally contacts have always been offputting - I get freaked out about jamming something into my eyeball so I doubt I'd ever want them.
To me, it is probably a toss up between Five Guys and Jake's Wayback Burgers. They both have their appeal, I suppose, so it is nice to have options.
Ah, Bruce! Glad you could make it!
If you didn't notice any differences, either you somehow ended up with a misprinted DVD (with international packaging but the U.S. version of the film on the disc) or you just weren't paying attention. Any scene in which the titular stone was mentioned was either filmed with the speaker's mouth off camera (for easy…
This, and also all of the changed slang and colloquialisms, is why I eventually switched over to getting imported versions of the books. Some British, some Canadian. (The Canadian ones were pretty much identical, except for listing a second publisher and having much cheaper and quicker shipping!) By the time the…
Unless they just don't care (which, alas, I could see happening) the quality control on these glasses must be murder. Because they have to make sure the logos printed on the two separate glasses are printed straight and perfectly level with one another, so that they match up precisely when placed side to side, or else…
It is awesome enough that they now have the Hobbiton exteriors (and an interior for The Green Dragon) as a permanent set. But you know what would take it over the top into unbelievably amazing?
Me, I usually prefer playing with female characters. RPGs with interchangeable party members, I put as many females in the party as I can. Any games where you create the main character, if female is an option, I go with it. Part of me thinks it is so I can have something nice to look at as I play... but I've been…
You're welcome / my condolences! Just know, if you do get any of those 1/60 scale Macross Valkyries, that some of the earlier releases had fragile shoulders... If you're buying a more recent release, though, you should be fine.
