I'm not very confident of that, I fear... but there is always that small hope!

I am all for remastering! But I want the people behind remastering to know the difference between remastering and tinkering!

Well, I must admit I don't read much fan fiction myself... but if I can be allowed a moment for shameless self promotion, I can mention the fan fiction franchise that I begat...

How is it conceivable? It's conceivable because the films have not yet in any way been affected in any way by the show or any of the characters on the show.

I get that you're just expressing personal opinion, but how is it at all conceivable that Agents of SHIELD and the films are not in the same continuity?

Man, this just makes me want an Austin Powers IV. (I'm sure it would have gone a different direction, but given the ending of the third one, I'd have loved to have seen a fourth that was a take off of The Godfather, part II: Scott's taking the reins in the present intercut with flashbacks to his father's early days of

Wow... That really sucks. Suppose I can pop in my DVD as a private protest...

I wouldn't write off seasons one and two. Yes, the earlier days are a bit rough, but there's some diamonds in there. But yes, season seven is the last one on my shelf. I wanted to have, at the least, both ends of the "Who Shot Mr. Burns?" cliff hanger. But I stopped there, so the series could end on a higher note

Well, don't go too crazy. Just figure out what you're comfortable spending, and try not to exceed that by too much!

A long time... I dunno, when did the PS2 come out? That was my first DVD player. And I did own a few discs before I even had a player, knowing I would be buying one in the not too distant future. Anyway, the collection has been growing ever since then. Heck, the photos I shared are as of a few years ago, and it has

I'm not going to stop enjoying Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Not to belittle what he did, which is horrible, but that was Stephen Collins who did that, not Will Decker.

The manga is also quite good, although it does drag on a bit in the later portions of the story. It all comes back together before the end, though, and has a satisfying conclusion.

Having had a family member with Downs Syndrome, I don't appreciate comparing a "monkey" like look with it. Poor taste, sir. Please take such sentiment back to the dark recesses of the Eighth Dimension where it belongs.

I'm also rather interested in the making of documentaries for Series I and II that we didn't get for the broadcast version DVDs.

Well, it was a beautiful series, both in terms of the visuals and the storytelling. More people should experience the wonder that is Victorian England as seen in an anime series!

Which became rather a problem when they filmed 2010, as they had to remake the Discovery model, interior sets, space suits, and pods all over again from scratch. They didn't get it perfect... but they did a damn fine job.

Alas, that's the only version of From the Earth to the Moon I have seen... I suppose, not having seen the 4:3 version, it didn't bother me too much. But still, knowing about it, I am bothered slightly.

I do, too. Hell, I love DS9 more then I love TNG, and I'd really love if they upgraded it as they have TNG. (TOS is still my favorite, though...) Sadly, as of yet there is no news on that front...

Um, actually, I just cued up Red Dwarf (since the thing I was watching, a rather interesting documentary about Mel Brooks, ended) and, I am only about three minutes into the first episode, but it looks very much like the original version of the episode! No sign of any of the crap CGI visuals, or snips to the live

Nope. I live with my girlfriend. Fortunately, perhaps even astonishingly, she doesn't seem to mind the various things I collect.
