Huh... That trailer looks surprisingly good! Mind you, that doesn't necessarily translate to a good film, but I am more interested in seeing this now then I ever have been.

Quantum was only created (by the production, not in universe) because the rights to use Spectre were still tied up by McClory. So I suspect that leaves Quantum rather in the lurch. Still, I hope they at least get a brief reference in the new film to tie up that loose end (perhaps they were a branch of Spectre?) before…
Well, I think they earned Moneypenny, Q, and the return to the Universal Exports offices just fine in the last film. So I have faith.
This is true. I know QUANTUM was originally being set up because, at the time, they still couldn't use Spectre because of the issues with McClory. But now that those are all cleared up and Spectre will be coming back, I hope that QUANTUM at least gets a nod before completely being written off as a footnote in Bond…
I'll freely admit Connery is my favorite Bond, so if you wish to accuse me of having any bias in my response, be my guest.
Ah, beat me to it! As exciting as this all as (and it is very bloody exciting!) I cannot help but feel a tinge of disappointment, even if it is an expected one, at the lack of Hawking in this announcement...
That's a terrible likeness. Hell, the Telltale Game Marty looked more like Michael J. Fox then this thing does.
Well, you're not alone in that sentiment:
Yay! I won! I won!
Also, while I hate to be so picky, Kirk said that in one of the films, but the image of the Enterprise on the shirt is from the TV series.
To be fair, to Khyron, any robot he may pilot isn't really giant when compared with himself...
The humble Reliant, you say? If anything, although under-represented in merchandise when compared to any version of the Enterprise, the Miranda Class (of which the Reliant is a member) is probably one of the three most prolific ship classes in-Universe, along with the Excelsior Class and the Oberth Class (the Grissom…
You must love this:
Oh? I must admit it has been ages since I read the book. If this is the case, I hope Charlie gives 'em all brooms, and says, "You want to live in my factory? Well, you'll need to earn your keep! Now, go clean up after the Oompa Loompas!"
Yes, I did word that a bit wrong. I should have said, "At the least, Grandpa Joe should have been singing, 'We've got a golden ticket.'"
Maybe the other three actually are invalids, as opposed to Faker Joe?
All I know, is that it always rubbed me slightly wrong that Grandpa Joe was singing, "I've got a golden ticket!" Um, excuse me... isn't that Charlie's ticket? At best, Grandpa Joe should have been singing, "We've got a golden ticket."
Sorry, but no. The Jabba scene just does not work. Even looking at the film by itself and not as part of a trilogy (where revealing him now undercuts his later reveal in Jedi), all it does is slow down the pacing of the film, and doesn't offer any information beyond what is revealed in the Greedo scene.
Huh... A tiny bit of Classic Trek I'd never seen before. Thanks for that!
If it was in a trailer, it was one of those "So quick if you blink you miss it!" things... But no worries! I do like to avoid many spoilers, so the sentiment is appreciated. But in this case, all you've done is made me more interested in the film!
