For me, Sachiko Fujinuma from Erased (Boku dake ga Inai Machi, so people who hate that title wont murder me) rose up over my favorite anime moms. She doesn’t have any idea about the circumstances surrounding her son, but she’s a proper adult and Mom. Through that, she becomes one of the heroes of the show.

I think the spit take is barely covered by medical sicence as well. I think there are a few times in reality that someone has actually spit out their drink when they’ve heard something really funny or shocking. At least it’s a reality as compared to the anime blood take.
