If this is a sign of things to come from the Nokia/Microsoft partnership then I have to say I am already impressed. Those are very nice looking phone. I am excited to see great hardware paired with WP7.

I remember reading a box of blueberry muffin mix that actually said "Contains real imitation blueberries!". Ummmm ok!

After suffering with Android for over a year I can happily say that I am glad to be rid of it. It is an ugly, inconsistent, buggy, mess. The final straw was actually Angry Birds. It is a simple 2D game that didn't even run smoothly on the Droid. The main reason I could see was because of the ads. If I put it into

@GranMastaB614: Sounds like it is time for a new girlfriend.

I really don't see this as that big of threat. Most people will keep their current email addresses because that is much easier than switching. I still have my Hotmail email account because I have had it for the last 16 years (before it was even owned by Microsoft) and I have already used it for everything.

@YummyCyanide: The instruction book that comes with the Focus actually talks about how to add an SD card. The book says to use a hard reset to get it to see the new card but I just did a software reset and it worked fine.

@YummyCyanide: I have and it works great. I actually just ripped my 16 GB SD from my Droid and threw it in, did a quick reboot, and it recognized it fine. I have been using it without issue for the last 3 days. The key to an SD card for WP7 is the read/write speeds. If it is too slow then it can cause issues.

@BeefSupreme: Wow, you are easy to disappoint considering the phone has only been available (in the US) for a day. Give it time.

@Odin: Unfortunatly Google has proven time and time again (Buzz, Wireless data collecting, etc) that it just doesn't care about your privacy. Google is an advertising company and Microsoft is a software company. Microsoft has a lot of reasons why they need to keep your data safe. Trust is what keeps people buying

The title doesn't seem to match the article. The title says broken but the article says areas of improvement. Broken means that it doesn't work and can't be used.

My bet is it will implement more of a Metro UI and have a more managed code base (aka Singularity).

I think a lot of those were from people that bought 2 and gave one as a gift. The person receiving the give has no clue what to use it for so it sits around collecting dust. I still have no idea what I would use one for just like everyone that I know. I know one person that bought one and used it for about a week

It looks like the took the micro vibrating motor from a cell phone and a little watch battery and put it into a fake bullet. The bullet looks too perfect to have been fired from a gun into a solid surface.

@furst568: I just did it and it works like a champ. I did it with a Zune 80 on Windows 7 with the latest Zune software installed.

@furst568: Actually I have never tried it before... hold on, let me go grab my Zune 80 and test this.

@furst568: Actually that isn't true. You can change a registry setting to get it to work.

Zune integration mainly for me. XBL and Office are very nice. I dislike Android because it is a buggy inconsistant mess (I have a Droid right now) and I don't want to be anywhere near Apple's ecosystem. I am looking for a smooth reliable OS which WP7 seens to do well.

@zelannii: Your friends are probably used to Obj C so they will of course think it is easier. From a professional perspective .NET is far easier to learn and write apps for. It also requires a whole lot less code to do equivalent tasks. Saying that Obj C is like .NET except for the syntax is like saying English is

@RuckingFetard: I work for the police department in my city and I write the software that tracks sex offenders. They wouldn't be pushing this hard for something like you are describing. I am sure the age difference is far greater than you are thinking. There are some really sick individuals out there. I believe

@MarkB: Not sure where you are getting your information from but you are incorrect. You have to be properly served. If not then it gets thrown out and the process has to start over.
