As a married and procreating human, I agree with you, but I think the problem has a solution that HGTV doesn’t want us to know:

Theory: She sheds are the natural response to the “open concept” house everyone thought they wanted but quickly learned meant “No place at all to get away to”.

Also, that water is going to be boiled off damn quick, and all that’s going to be left behind is the minerals from the water. Going to have to call nay on this one.

On that awful flat spot permanently molded to the front bumper. Disgusting.

Straight to hell where they belong!

Impressions:

Is... is that bear your mechanic? If so, you’ve got bigger problems than you realize.

I’m currently restoring old sash windows in my house. I disagree that it’s a weight problem. If the cord snapped, yes the sash weights would drop and the window frame would fly up like that..... but, unweighted, the window would not stay down on its own. It would pop back up each time it was pulled down, which would

Aww yeah it’s Halloween leeeet’s goooo! *spooky skeleton dance*

Also - if your toilet tank is leaking into the bowl, it’ll make flush sounds at random times when the water has finally all leaked out. Replace the flapper or maybe the entire valve. It’s not ghosts; just a bad seal.

I am looking forward to an orderly election which will eliminate the need for a violent bloodbath.

I posted this story last year, but I was sort of late in my submission and it ended up buried about 5,000 comments down. Now, two days into the contest and there’s already 365 comments! Well, here’s hoping it gets seen this year.

I’ve got one I call “Old Gray Thing” that I always forget to post. It was a paranormal encounter but I’m still not sure what exactly it was, and I’ve always been curious if anyone else has seen one too. I’m doxxing myself if anyone I know reads this, but here goes nothing...

Aww! That’s a lovely story! I have a dog story too. When I was a kid, we had a spaniel. He was called sparky, and he was very protective of me, I guess because I am disabled and and only child. It was just him and me for most of my childhood. He died when I was 20, he had cancer so had to be pts. I was heartbroken...

Have you ever heard of the boxcar theory of time? It’s also known as chronodisplacement and sounds a lot like what you experienced. The idea is that instead of a continual flow, time is a series of instants hooked up together like boxcars. Normally you experience things as continuous and smooth, but occasionally some

Our pet dog passed away unexpectedly late last year. We grieved and were despondent for months. It literally felt like there was a gray pall over us.

It’s been a while, but I just saw something new and interesting on the internet that wasn’t also horrifying. Bravo.

What. The actual. Fuck. I would have listed that house in a New Yor-England minute.

This happened to me a few years ago, and I still get chills every time I think about it.
