Well, from what I read he shot a guy standing outside the passenger side of the car while he was in the driver’s seat. He was in no real danger and shot him. Sounds like murder instead of manslaughter to me. I’m not 100% sure on the difference but I believe manslaughter is more about negligence and this wan’t

They didn’t completely fuck it up. He got manslaughter instead of murder. Baby steps. Soon we will get actual justice for all.......I hope.

“Why weren’t they reported to law enforcement?”

If you were actually paying attention to this story, you would know that many of them *were*.

Authorities swept them under the rug.

White people didn’t fuck it up for once, woo!

Stupid rape victims not following procedure!

As noted in several linked posts above and in ESPN’s reporting, numerous assaults were reported to police, only for charges not to be brought or to later be dropped. The Appling-Payne case, despite police requesting charges be brought, was dropped by a prosecutor who subsequently was hired to, yes, work in Michigan

Money. I’m not trying to be glib or anything, but it all boils down to money. It’s almost inspiring in its simplicity.

Those people are my favorite. I don’t like either side now listen as I spew talking points from one side attacking the other.

Lots of props to Ken for starting us with...

Dead Letters. Come for the misplaced anger. Stay for the poor spelling.

Thirty years ago I worked on some software which eventually became a commonly-offered spelling and grammar check engine. Now, I mostly drink too much and rue my career choices.

The 1st one to Barry was clearly written by a child (humerus, lol) but, Ken’s letter to Laura...he says why should he care about an athlete’s political beliefs, then says he stopped watching the NFL because of an athlete’s political beliefs!

If that is the case, you should go back to school and start over. You clearly never learned anything in your years of education. I pray you did not spend very much money for your education. As you ponder what point, in your educational process, you might to return to, I would recommend you consider 1st grade or,

I think he was talking about Trump, tbh.

Wow, Barry is really fucking over ESPN.

“In His loving service

Clearly you are attempting to be humerus in your description of The President of the United States.

Not just football. I just saw a story about a hockey coach who wouldn’t allow water to players and the responses were almost predominantly people saying that was fine and the kids were soft.

Out the Wazzu*

Luke Falk, QB, WSU: “Too soft, has empathy, lacks killer instinct. May become locker room divider.”
