I am not too concerned with the WIFI bit. Wouldn't leave the XOOm without a custom rom, its the 800.00 price For that price I could go to an IPAd or an IPAD2

From what was reported earlier, about 800.00 and to unlock wifi a month of Verizon service. Thats not even competitive with the Ipad.

Notion Ink needs to start mass producing these things so that they hit stores. I was going to pick up a XOOM but they priced themselves out of the market. I won't pre-order either since NI has shown they aren't too reliable on delivery dates

@Giggity: I have a brand new (well since Nov/Dec) MBP. Its an I7 with 8GB of ram and SSD. However as a general rule of principal I don't use Safari. My old MBP (was acquired by one of the VPs here earlier this year) had tons of issues with Safari. Pretty much like I said, I rank it at the same level as IE.

@Philip.J.Fry: No I mean its a safari thing in general. I have no problems with my MBP viewing anything (Firefox, Chrome). I have no problems with on the PC with IE 8. I have long since given up on Safari since I started having crashes with Flash only when I used Safari. I pretty much rank Safari at the same level

@Giggity: Yeah, its a safari thing... go figure

@The5thElephant: Its android. Android can be customized. The Youtube thing is your opinion however and I can't fault you for it. Like most widgets and UI "cool factors" it will attract some, and others it will turn away. Till I can use it for a few weeks I won't be able to judge however if its shiny or if there is

@Dogen: Well, unlike people that typically accept things for face value from Fox News I tend to question most of what I read unless it is backed up from multiple sources. I'm not in any rush to find out what went on however. I will leave the fact finding to real sleuths such as yourself. I was just stating there

I am pretty sure that if she wanted to come back she could have taken a flight somewhere else and crossed through the tunnel.

@ThePriceofEggsinMalta: I am with you. Until it hits with a brick and mortar place I won't be touching any tablets. As for Eden, if its running on Honeycomb I am sure I will be able to go to a basic ASOP Rom soon enough.

@sirmeili: I will believe it when I see the package tracking number posted on the website with a signed destination.

If this is the case I may wait for the vapor ware known as NotionInk Adam

@freelunch: Yes, but if you looked at the case design you will see that the heat sinks and fans are positioned in such a way to blow cool air over and away from without recycling the same air, but I understand what you are saying.

@mattv888: Still, most people other sweat or have dirty hands after a while. Covering this area will lead to scratches and dirt over this alert area.

Horrible idea IMO.

I don't know. Outside of the neon lights I think I like it for the base simplicity. Its a nice looking design and since its open air the chance for heating issues is lowered.

@mbprice: Gotcha. Ok that I can understand.

Perhaps its because I have never used an online dating site before, but I have to ask this.

@Eric Walker: No I realized after I had read what your response was and how my answer was worded that it was confusing.

@pz: Not really. The customization can still remain, however locking key things down to certain ROMS is what annoys me. I would be more than willing to pay HTC /Samsung /etc for certain .apk that I can download from them and install into my ROM. Releasing the ROM itself would even be nice. I would love to actually
