@chetstovepiper: Not really. There is a difference between putting more power through the chipset to reach the desired gain and then there is a difference between having detachable antennas and being able to use a unidirectional antenna to broadcast and pickup through.

@Allan 'Blades' Jones: They actually have a HUD module that attaches to helmets (full faced). It has a review camera and a speedometer. Horrible reviews on it though.
