Mitsubishi’s been circling the drain for a decade or more. If they’re not going to invest in making good vehicles then good riddance.

Agreed. While the Mirage is a bit cheaper, it’s so much worse of a vehicle than the Versa there’s no good reason for it to exist.
I assume it sells because dealers are willing to give out ridiculous loan terms on them that Nissan dealers are not. That advantage would go away if it came under the Nissan umbrella.
Oh god, we have one of those in Austin. Scott Elder, infamous for his annoying and pervasive radio ads, went from “Dream Cars Austin” to “Elder Mitsubishi”. I assume he took a second mortgage out on his soul.
My guess is the top seats are standard and the bottom seats are optional RECARO.
Remember when Nissan started the trend with the Juke?
Seems like a potentially good idea for maneuvering trailers around facilities, but terrible for road use for aerodynamics (among other things)
Nissan reached its peak with the fourth gen Maxima (95-99). Infiniti only entered the general public’s consciousness with the G35/37.
That’s right. I’ll use my Harbor Freight jack to lift my car, but I’m not going under it until it’s sitting on my Harbor Freight jack sta..... fuck.
This is the correct answer. Your Civic Si was tuned to put down power. This engine is tuned purely for efficiency.
Exactly this. Anyone who’s only played on XBox 360/PS3 may be interested.
I believe by law they either have to keep the physical check or a digital copy of it. Between mobile deposit, where the bank never receives the physical check and the relative ease of keeping digital copies, I’d assume most institutions do the latter exclusively.
if you have relatively long legs that’s the biggest problem. I fit fine in the Beat height wise even with the top up. On the other hand, my left leg is pretty much wedged between the shifter and steering wheel. It’s not as bad when I’m cruising and can get my foot in behind the clutch pedal.
I wanted an AZ-1 SO bad, but ultimately my height prevented me from achieving this dream.
At 6'4" I fit in the Beat though! Such a fun car to drive.
They’re in-demand vehicles, and by packing more features into a smaller price tag than the competition, there’s likely simply not as much wiggle room to offer discounts.
Do we know what actual dealer invoice on one of these runs?
I have a hard time accepting this list simply because III as a whole left such a bad taste in my mouth, and I absolutely abhorred the (Modern Day) ending.
Brotherhood’s Modern Day gets my vote for #1 for several reasons I won’t go into for spoiler reasons, though I admittedly haven’t played all of the games past III
Sorry, but the broken AC, speedo, and inability to be bothered to put the bumper on paint a frightening picture on what is otherwise a very clean and well-modded car.
Working AC (Hey, I live in Texas) might have put it over the edge to NP. I am a sucker for diamond quilt and luggage racks.
Is that the Dagger Flat auto trail at Big Bend in the first and third pics?
I hear FCA is always looking for automakers to merge with. Doesn’t Daimler FCA feel like a natural fit? What could go wrong?
These “sporty” SUV models get more and more hilarious the larger the vehicle gets. X4? Sure, it’s basically a BMW 3 GT that just got a little bigger and rides a little higher. X6? Okay, why not. You want to seat 3+ people more comfortably but are willing to sacrifice some utility for aesthetics.
X8? I’m laughing my…
