Why buy a vehicle that needs regular, insanely expensive maintenance to run and guzzles an ungodly amount of fuel when you can have a fighter jet instead?

50% chance VW/Ford put out a vehicle that’s completely uninteresting, sales are much lower than their ambitious goals, and they use it as an excuse to say “see, people really don’t want electric cars!”

The problem now is that teams now have a few months leading up to the next season to find a way of working around the new regulation.

My i3 automatically puts itself into park when I press the button to turn it off, and if I try to leave the vehicle with it in Neutral or Drive it yells really loud (and may also put itself into park in that scenario, I don’t remember).

The current GLA 45 starts at $53k, so there’s your ballpark.

The Smart FourTwo EV has what, 60 miles of range? 120 is usable, 60 is difficult to live with unless you’re using it purely as a city car.

This is the second 50th anniversary vehicle they’ve put out that’s a special edition of a vehicle desperately in need of a new generation.

The 2000 Insight came with a a better steering wheel than the Prelude of the same vintage?!

And also an S2000 steering wheel. Nice! I put one in my Prelude, it’s so much better than the stock. 

My biggest problem is that the car is really only effective if you never used covered parking during the day. 

Just not that steering wheel. Looks like it’d be difficult to grip at 9 and 3. 

As a potential future Supra owner, this is great news! Lends more credence to the hypothesis that the Supra motor is seriously underrated.

I’ll wait until we see more dyno runs from customer Supras before I get too excited. 

It’s really not bad! Took me all of about 15 minutes to adjust, your mind handles the shifter just fine without any real thought.
