The battery difference is probably significant. So far, the Snapdragon 800 has proven to be a juggernaut when it comes to battery life. The Nexus 4 battery life was garbage.

I disagree. The 'zoom' offered by the 41MP is awesome. And it's the closest thing to a point and shoot on your phone.
I prefer the Nexus 7 myself, especially since I have one, but if you're an established iOS user and you're invested in their apps, it's best to just stick with an iPad.
I think the Nokia PureView tech deserves at least an honorable mention.
I don't know, there are always future wars. The current U.S. Navy could take over the world and coerce any country to do what the U.S. wants, so world domination could always be fun.
Yes. At 6", 720p is well below the 'Retina' threshold of 300dpi.

Well given how these guys are pretty secretive, I wouldn't be surprised if they've found real life uses for this.
Not with these bullets.
No. The HK416 can be fired when wet. This is optimized for underwater use. This gun has supercavitating ammunition.
A custom laptop or a custom desktop for the same price as the MacBook? For the same price as the entry level MacBook, you can get a GTX 760/R9 280X that shits on the iMac or MacBook.
Their skin is light, but hideous, IMO.
The Nexus S was, but it was curved the other way (vertically?), so it conformed to your face when you used it for a call.
It would be useful for phone setup (a rare occasion, but still), when you have to type in tons of usernames and passwords.
How does the Kindle Fire HDX beat out the Nexus 7? Yes, it's slightly better, spec-wise (Snapdragon 800 vs. a slightly underclocked Snapdragon 600), but you're trapped in Amazon's ecosystem and it's not any cheaper.
This is why I don't care about benchmarks. If it performs well in real life, then it's a high performance phone.
I heard it's for OIS or a magnetic lens mount.
Assuming it's like the soft touch back of the new Nexus 7, it's going to be durable and nice feeling.
Why doesn't Sony cut the weird wireless crap and just make it connectable via micro-USB?
I thought the French service weapon looked more like this?
