Seconded.
Seconded.
Seeing as how our boy Raphael owns a baja Beetle he got for $1500, I think his opinion of cheap is still spot on.
You're so awesome. Tell me more about how great your car is. The excellent mileage, how you never have to work on it, how quiet it is on the inside! Let us know what an exciting life you live!
The best one I ever saw had a big Scope logo on it with the tagline "KEEPIN IT FRESH" underneath. I would drive that every day.
<—-*Watches video and immediately puts own Mustang on craigslist.*
That is quite awesome. I'm gonna start treating mine more like equipment and less like a baby bird.
Thanks for sharing this, I feel like I've been babying my 7D too much now! Jokes aside, this makes me feel great about the life I can expect out of the little guy.
They should all be arrested for driving on the wrong side of the road.
An aside: My friend who got me into bikes told me "I may never be able to afford the fastest cars in the world, but I can sure afford one of the fastest bikes." If thrill is your game, get a bike.
We do play in-state, moron. Every two years we head down to Baton Rouge to play the Tigers. Also we put up more points against A&M than anyone else this year and only lost that game by 2.
Doesn't look all that straight.
I think most newer models run too hot with gasoline and anything other than diesel. But I'm not an expert and am going on what a reliable coworker told me.
A buddy at work was in the National Guard. He said they'd put a bit of gasoline in the Hummvee if they needed to go faster. Said they'd get a few extra mph out of it and also get in a ton of trouble if anyone found out. Destroying the engine was worth getting through a couple areas fast according to him.
Ah ok, I read your comment wrong. My apologies.
You're wrong and I'm going to tell you why. Your engine's pumping efficiency is at it's maximum when it is wide open throttle, but any economical efficiency is thrown away around 2500 rpm. You would have to floor it through the first few gears but shift almost immediately.
Ooof that is absolutely terrible. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.
there's an orange one in Texas i may go look at this weekend. I personally am not a fan of orange but it does look good on a well-sorted Z. I think I'd paint one white, no matter what color it started as.
I'm currently on the lookout for one to replace my current car, a 05 Mustang I've had since new. I've always loved the early Zs and am jealous that you've had so many. What should I look out for when I go check them out?
For me, nothing beats an early 240. Attractive bumpers really make the difference. Throw some over-fenders on there and BRE front and rear spoilers and paint it white. Top it off with Watanabes and you have the most beautiful car that made it to our shores from Japan in the 70s.
Exactly, I was incredibly surprised. I think the fact that absolutely no one else could be blamed played a part, but historically the only thing he takes credit for is a win. Anything negative has a scapegoat. A good friend of mine used to work with JGR for several years and told me Kyle is actually a good guy, but…
