Confusing, no. Misleading, especially for those who remember when 63 meant 6.3 liters and 550 was a 5.5 liter engine, absolutely.
Yup, downsize and add a turbo, but keep the numbering from the prior model. Ridiculous, but effective sales tactic.
As I noted elsewhere, same goes for the 550's now with 4.7L engines...
Oh, I know that they know they audience, but when you see E63, you would expect a 6.3L engine, not a 5.5L engine, even if the power output is the same. I am not referring to the E or the AMG portions so much as the numbering nomenclature no longer aligns with displacement.
Half of the current Mercedes lineup...
Exactly what I was thinking, brown shirt with a white outline of the car. Do the Jalopnik and Blipshift logos have to be integrated into the picture?
Hands down my favorite. Came here to say this.
My favorite book growing up! Good memories!
I am a sox fan, but in my opinion there was no good angle to determine this without a doubt. Nothing to overturn it had it been called either way. I was fine with the out being called, and assumed it was correct until I came here and saw some doubt was raised.
I think he was out, but he was not touched there. The fabric was already moving from the force of him hitting the ground before the mitt was even close.
And being a Saab fan, it killed me a little bit to not say the Swedish Chef.
Definitely not alone. Not my favorite by any stretch, but there at least appears to be some effort to make it different there. I'll reserve final opinions until I see it in the flesh.
While my summer tires are on here in MA, I notice the drop with the change in fuel mix, but my winter snows are narrower, and I actually see an overall increase in MPG during the winter because of this. I run 235 for summers and 215 for winters. Go from about 29 highway to 31, all else equal.
Which is why he can hit and is pretty damn fit.
Yup, that's what we called it, cruiser bruiser started right after it came out.
ahh, there we go! thanks! I had read the whole comment, but it may have been someone else's. In any event, always glad to get the right info.
