King of the Mountain is all modified cars if I recall, and then they run some relatively stock tournaments as well. They have a crazy backlog of submitted vehicles, so they aren’t taking more viewer cars for a while.
Only way I might buy anything Apple!
PIAA wipers and blades. Hated the way rain-x gunked up the lines, and the silicone infused blades do a pretty amazing job at keeping water beaded and rolling off the windshield. They are the first thing I swap on any car I acquire.
Can’t forget the Mercury Villager too! (First car and that light bar never worked properly)
Came here to mention this if he hadn’t. Glad to see it only a couple comments down
All things considered looks pretty good. There are enough Saab techs in the Boston area that you could probably get one to do a PPI/test drive and let you know what to look for, better than I can. Honestly, it is super appealing to me... but my better half wants a slightly newer next vehicle.
The chromed surround isn’t my favorite feature, that’s for sure, but they are less noticeable on the Silver base car and they are pretty easy to remove and either repaint or wrap. My ‘06 9-5 sedan has been totally reliable except for the wiring harness behind the steering wheel. Finally got that resolved and it has…
I actually picked up my ‘06 9-5 in NC back in ‘09 and drove it back to MA. Was totally worth it. Such a good highway cruiser.
Was literally looking at 9-5 wagons earlier and stumbled on this manual Aero in NC: https://www.saabnet.com/tsn/class/ci.php3?ph=photos/17865/1
This is literally par for the course with some activist managers (but certainly not all). The language is pretty mild compared to what you see from others. They have enough lawyers vetting every word before they publish that they can avoid litigation pretty easily.
Last 2-strokes were in the 96 I think, then they went to the Ford v4 - 4 stroke during that model run before switching to the inline 4 with the 99.
Only one door in the front that I can see from this shot... should be the same category as an Isetta.
This is like 2 blocks from the 11'8" bridge...
Always preferred the aesthetics of the Aileron to those of the C8 (at least the exterior), but the interiors for both are fantastic...
Kind of was pushed sideways by the no-longer Force India, Racing Point car. I think it was Perez. He had been forced to his right by Ricciardo’s teammate Hulkenberg (ironically).
Damn... the wait for the 25th year and the premium it would command are just too much...
Wait, one of them got the Hirsch treatment?! (or at least hirsch rims...)
Parts are generally plentiful except for the damn clockspring for the later year OG 9-5s. Haven’t found a new one in years... Love my ‘06, but some things are getting harder to come by.
