I currently mentor an FRC team and it happens about once a season.

For the time, they were fine. If you bought one when it was old and beat that’s on you. They were pretty cockroach unkillable in the original 4cyl 3spd slushbox form. It was that later V6s with the 4spd that gave them a bad rap.
