You missed a bombshell of a story:

Who the fuck upgraded that historic house to 1990? They should be punished for it. People who make modern renovations to obvious historical style houses should be smacked. My good friend’s father and his current wife live in a beautiful Victorian that was one of the 1st houses built in the town, but it can’t be put on

So, uh.... “Gipped” looks to me like a misspelling of “Gypped” which is sort of totally fucking racist. How ‘bout we edit that to “cheated” and leave racist terms out of it?

Hi, so I’m just here to ruin the fun and point out that “gipped” or “jipped” or “gypped” —or however you want to write it— is an ethnophaulism against Romani peoples. It’s not a very nice word to say ☹

I think there are a lot of places in what you wrote that seem to conflate “free thought” and “free speech”. And I don’t get the sense that Janelle Monáe is criticizing free thinking. She’s saying that some free thinking is shitty thinking, and when she encounters that she’s going to call it out. Calling it “free

Monae is exactly right. Free thought in itself carries no intrinsic correctness. People freely think all types of hateful, racist, sexist, etc. thoughts. And others equally freely think liberating, empathetic, and empowering thoughts.

Being a “free thinker” in Kanye’s context means, “my ignorance is as valid as your knowledge”. It’s not.

My worst recent example is the guy who told me on our fourth (!) date, that he had “concerns” about my weight, basically saying he thought I was too fat to go hiking and such with him. Which: dude, we’ve gone out before and you knew what I looked like that whole time. Also, you don’t have standing to have or register

Two brilliant legal minds at work!

Seriously— any attempts to build a “it wasn’t related to the campaign” defense was blown right to shit when Rudy said that it was directly related to the campaign.

But the thing about a campaign is, it’s still considered a campaign loan even if was reimbursed from private money.

It absolutely is, they’ve basically thrown Michael Cohen right under the bus, and are using the weak “personal loan” excuse to try to cover up the fact that they’re essentially admitting that Trump violated campaign finance laws. They’re just too stupid to realize it. I think the only reason why they’re coming out

“SHE’S UNSINKABLE I TELLSYA, UNSINKABLE!!!”

It’s absolutely clear from the way Rudy shoehorned the repayment revelation into his interview with Hannity last night that this was their gambit to get away from the campaign finance issue. I expect their plan to deal with the problem of how this will blow up the “Trump didn’t know about the payment” strategy will

He won’t get fired because he gamed it out with Trump before he even went on Hannity. They’re getting out ahead of any revelations they expect from Cohen if/when he flips and draining all the oxygen from the rest of the news cycle with Giulaini’s comments getting repeated ad nauseum. Hence Trump’s lawyer-speak tweets

This is actually kind of exciting in that if he gets fired within a day or two, he’ll break Anthony Scarmucci’s record for the quickest Trump’s hired and then fired somebody. And it couldn’t happen to a better person

Of course he’s not going to be fired. He’s just going to suddenly choose to pursue other clients, after having the honor the serve the President Trump, and obviously it will have nothing to do with his actions yesterday and today. I mean, c’mon. He was mayor during 9/11, guys. 9. 11.

A nice idea, but Trump can’t read.

Activist and writer Shaun King deserves A LOT of credit for his arrest, and for the arrest of others who committed assault in Charlottesville. The local authorities did very little to try to find them, Shaun used his huge platform to identify them by name and location, and to keep the pressure on the police to follow

Ah yes. Another fine, basement-dwelling specimen of the “superior race.”
