The real loss that’s going to sail over most people’s heads isnt the announcements or trailers or any of that dumb hype bullshit that can be accomplished with a tweet or a youtube video like they’re already doing

100% Agree - that scene needed a character and why not use one that already exists? “Fan service’ seems to only be used as a point of criticism but I don’t think that should always be the case.
Its almost like they’re two different types of show that exist in the same universe. I enjoyed Andor , I also enjoyed Rebels (which I watched with my kids, and was a surprisingly good show )The Mandalorian existing (and its various cameos) doesn’t stop you enjoying Andor.
Hell even Cad Bane is arguably more of that, because while he is a cool badass character in personality/design, there’s callbacks to later season Clone Wars in there. (And not just that but to later season UNFINISHED EPISODES of Clone Wars that have been hinted to still be canon here and there and that we’ve only seen…
Jedi gained a huge power boost in the Expanded Universe, though. Same way Superman used to be a guy who leapt tall buildings and ran faster than a train, but writers ran out of ideas on how to use his limited power set, so they just kept making up new powers until he could fly, lift apartment buildings, run faster…
The only one to blame is GameStop. I mean its a store that sells games and game related toys, it should be my favorite store. But it isn’t and its because of their terrible treatment of customers, where they see them as potential subscription and warrantee purchasers, not people.
Console exclusivity has been a factor since the very beginning. In terms of games, they should have the upper hand, even if the rate of big name games was slower after the beginning of covid-era-America, since they also sell used games. With backwards compatibility, they could actually encourage gamers to buy hits…
I never thought about ME:A that way, but I see it and agree. I still replay DAI once a year or so to catch up with my old buddies and fluff up Skyhold. ME:A questing really does have the same feel to it, and I also like to catch up with my crew...even Peebee/Sera for a hot minute.
100% this. DA:I was a game where I remember multiple times just losing myself in the character interactions (especially the group scenes) and finding them just so *good* while... I really don’t remember any of the ME:A ones.
Also sad that the Quarians were missing. I love those germophobes.
tyyy i have to fit in investigative reporting in between SEO news posts lmao but this is the stuff i love to do.
I like to imagine getting Liam and Peebee into the airlock together, maybe hinting at some romance, and then flushing them into the nearest sun.
As a bit of a different approach, and hopefully not a derailing comment, I am really glad that Dragon Age 2 isn’t on the list. Not because I think it is a bad game that needs defending, but rather because this is to me a signal how far the discussion around that game has come and how it can now be discussed as an…
As has been brought up by multiple comments, Andromeda is such a conflicting experience for me as well. Like I don’t think it is a ‘good’ game, at least I wouldn’t recommend it full-heartedly to others, as it has meaningless bloat, weird moments of disconnect and just a messy combat system that oversimplifies…
Lots of games are buggy, Andromeda was too but that’s pretty par for the course with open-world. Gameplay was as best as it’s ever been (and I’m hoping ME4 takes some cues). The issue, as others are saying as well, is that the writing wasn’t that great. I was helping ME1-3 characters because I genuinely cared about…
Probably something that doesn’t require a lot of moment to moment attention, so you can be listening to a podcast or something while you’re playing and not miss anything important
Whether you think you “knew” or not is not what matters here. When and where he wanted to deal with it is.
Obviously, but “what was NL’s sexuality” is like the 6th most important point of this article.
Yah when did this start like ten years ago? This wasn’t at all the case before. Any audience member getting confused by a re-casting is reeeeeeally assuming the audience is stupid.
I hope they remember how cleanly they did it for Edward Norton and Terrance Howard. That is how it is done.
okay very sorry for the real people involved but lmaooooo imagine being kevin feige right now hahahaha
No one defended Ezra Miller, though.
