Right there with you on this being an episode the series needed. Beyond resetting the board for the characters and story, this felt like Favreau and Famuyiwa reeling the show back in to its core concepts.

I largely agree with most things written in this response. Hell, I absolutely loathe “Demands of the Qun” and was expecting to be on the same page with the original article about why it is awful, but this just goes to a really weird direction that doesn’t seem to get the Qunari like at all.

I hated The Rise of Skywalker with a passion and very much liked Babu Frik, so there’s that too...

I mean, fans of Rise of Skywalker exist, I think.  The worlds big enough for actual Babu Frik fans.

What’s the point of the comparison other than in the broadest terms: “these are both shows in a franchise”? Andor is like a 70s political thriller. Mando is a spaghetti western. Neither one “does” something to the other.

Some of us like episodic Westerns

Imo, FF has had an identity crisis for quite some time(as far back as FF8 or FF12 and its Star Wars plot), and it became apparent with FF15's themes and its settings that they TRIED to make work. Don’t get me started on FF13 and its mess of a convoluted universe.

As someone who enjoyed Lowery’s take on Pete’s Dragon, this looks like a big ol swing and a miss. It feels like a 10 years too late Pirates of the Caribbean-ified Peter Pan.

Remake Victory Through Air Power you cowards.

The stuff with Hook, Smee, and the crocodile in the OG cartoon was funny cartoon stuff.

jokes aside they paid pretty well compared to most places in the industry. Rank and file testers got just under $18/hr and I think contract specialists and leads got around $21/hr. The only other QA company in Louisiana that actively hires pays $11/hr for mobile testing.

FEDRA is indeed manufacturing batteries and ammunition. It’s a line in the first episode.

I disagree with you there on the second half, there’s legitimate reasons lgbtq groups dont want people to give money to someone who is openly funding hate campaigns against them.

Yeah no, it was a cute scene that didn’t feel like an ad, more like nostalgic food for 90's kids.

This feels like a blatant over reaction.

Seriously, what the fuck? I totally expected AV Club to be all over that?

That moment where his inner monologue (and the music) shifted into a worried tone reminded me of the moments early on in Wandavision where the mood whiplashed before just as quickly reverting back to sitcom.  Most particularly the choking scene in the first episode.

I just really hope that Scott doesn’t keep this to himself between now and Kang Dynasty. Even if “The Avengers” aren’t an official organization anymore he personally knows Bruce Banner, Rhodey, and Sam Wilson and should have their cell numbers and Dr Strange is a known public figure with a known residence. If Scott

I appreciate it more when he puts it that way because watching the movie I was thinking “they’ve already done that” when I thought he and Hope were getting left behind. They’ve done it twice, really. First with Janet escaping, then with Scott. But I also kind of felt like they were taking the easy way out when they

Making a good Superman game is hard. Maybe impossible. He’s such an overpowered character that making a game that fulfills the expected power fantasy while also providing interesting challenges is very, very difficult. That’s why there have never been any good Superman games. How do you challenge the player when they

These trailers are keeping me in the “optimistic maybe” department.
