They nailed this episode. I went in expecting a fairly strict adaptation of Bill from the game: a loner curmudgeon with a chip on his shoulder who helps Joel find a car battery.

The beeeest part of all the imminent whining is that they were heavily implied to have been a couple in the game.
Well...yeah. I mean, as much as I’ll miss Majel’s voice forever, acting should be a human endeavor, and not left up to AI.
Perhaps....but it is not inaccurate.
Yeah, he’s been pretty explicit about that in interviews leading up to the show. Knives Out and Glass Onion were Agatha Christie-inspired whodunnits and Poker Face is definitely taken from Columbo.
Those turbines will injest anything within 15 feet that isn’t nailed down. Clipboards, cones, luggage, ...Janet.
You’d hope the name alone would discourage people from going anywhere near it, since “intake zone” would otherwise seem to be sufficient.
“Ingestion zone" is the most unsettling phrase I have heard in a very long time. I can't get it out of my head.
More like “Indigestion Zone” am I right?
They should do the “voice switch” in an episode that starts with Jerry accidentally interrupting a Rick experiment, causing the whole family’s voices to get messed up - Rick and Morty have weird-but-comical voices, Beth and Jerry switch voices, etc. Then at the end, Rick and Morty have the new voice actors’ voices,…
I wouldn't hate H Jon Benjamin taking over for Rick.
Boy oh boy your mind is gonna be blown when you find out what media criticism is.
Good. Keep it that way. As a low manager in a big company, we’re the one who pay the price when your team thinks you’re the one who responsible for this. And if you against it, the top brass will called you as a bad manager who can’t lead your team.
Hilariously for being on the block to be bought by Microsoft, this is a policy Microsoft used to have in the Ballmer era and have since dropped, because it was a such a bad idea.
Uh, no. Maybe at some jobs I’ve had, but I work in an office now full of talented, dedicated people who bust their asses every day and consistently hit targets and generate verifiable growth. (Coincidentally, it is also a place which regularly prioritizes the financial, physical, and mental wellbeing of employees.)
It’s my understanding that Indonesia has the world’s largest flour mills, which may be a reason for the change?
How freaking hard is to write a headline that doesn’t provide spoilers of the most recent episode!? Not all of us have the ability to watch it the second it is released. And it’s not like we are complaining about spoilers weeks later. Should at least get a 24-hour grace period on spoilers in the headline.
Not every joke landed in this one (I’m still not a big fan of Justice Smith’s “bumbling”), but it still looks really fun, and way better than the last Dungeons and Dragons movie I saw in theaters. And oh my god, does Michelle Rodriguez just looks sooo good as a barbarian. Like, wow.
Doesn’t seem to be much circling tables excessively and doubling back on empty shelves in case they come across random screws or pills. Starting to doubt their commitment to the source material.
That would make sense. But this being Hollywood, you can't blame me for being cynical.
