Maybe a Sting concert will lessen the pain.

Why can’t we just say Velma was bad?  Because thats what it was... The writers and the approach it took just didn’t work.

and it looks like the DA is a married gay democrat so...I mean still, maybe she really hated that impression.

The Godfather was a gangster flick in the tradition of a thousand mediocre crime potboilers since the 1930's

Baldwin was also a producer, which is why he’s being charged.

The product itself matters a lot when comparing regular sports to esports. Professional sports leagues around the world benefit greatly from both the relatively static nature of the sport and the built in loyalty fans have to the sport, leagues, and teams themselves. The clear athleticism of the players in any

I see a lot of comments here saying he shouldn’t be charged because as an actor, it wasn’t his job to check the gun. But it is my understanding he’s being charged due to his being a producer, not an actor. It seems like as a producer he is more responsible for what happens on set than if he was just an actor.

Probably because it’s more reliant on the health of the game itself. We thought Overwatch would last forever but that really doesn’t seem to be the case with how ABK has bungled the IP. League seems to be doing very well and its esports ecosystem appears quite healthy.

Genres in general are ignored, something the author of this piece should have known but seems ignorant of. Depending on how you stretch it, for example, only two SF films have ever won best picture.

What’s funny is that a lot (maybe most!) of old classic works that are considered “art/literature” today were definitely considered “genre” in their time.

There is still a prejudice that genre can’t be art and art can’t be genre. It has to be one or the other and genre is viewed as lesser.

There are a lot of genres that the Academy seems to hate. Animation, comedy, horror, blockbusters, etc. Only three animated movies have ever been nominated for best picture, and the last time was in 2010. And when was the last time a comedy was nominated? If the movie isn’t a drama, especially a biographical or

I actually find the two guys dodge rolling for 300 meters funnier.

I figure we can either try to cling to and replicate Majel with what we have or move on. And I think moving on is the right choice, sad as it is.

Hasbro owns Wizards of the Coast, so it’s technically true, but Wizards is still a corporate entity of their own with their own CEO, management, and employees. Hasbro does own D&D, but I wouldn’t insist on that kind of labeling or call it “more accurate”, or else you end up with things like “Yum Brands introduces a

I feel compelled to point out that the Star Trek Continues fan series used Marina Sirtis as the voice of the Enterprise computer... except in the Mirror Universe, where it was provided by Michael Dorn.

I can accept that there would be different computer voices. It could be something the Captain can change. Still, It always makes me smile when I hear her voice as the computer. I hope this isn’t the end but rather we will still hear her voice from time to time at least as one of the voices of Starfleet computer

I mean, that’s fine. It’ll be the least heinous thing this Picard show would have done. No one can replace Majel, but the change is understandable.

I agree. Also, there is a saturation point. Subscription cannot go up forever. Not everyone is going to sign up and if the average household is, say, 3 people, your possible number of subscribers is population/3. It’s not possible to go up forever.
