The scene of them all arriving at the dock was actually a super great way to give us a perfect summary of the character just by showing their mask usage.

I think that’s one thing that appeals to me too - the show isn’t pretending to be more than it set out to be. It knows it’s first and foremost a fun romp and by leaning into that it makes the emotional moments work, too, somehow. It’s kind of remarkable that as overwhelmingly stupid as this show is, and I write that as someone who adores the ‘Just go with it’ mentality of it all, it still manages to hit those emotionally pure moments that just work for me. That final moment between Kit and Elora, even with that ultimately silly and confusing…

It sounds like a dull Job Simulator instead of something trying to make a point one way or another, honestly.

I watched someone stream this for a couple of hours and they couldn’t last a single day before being fired.

This show isn’t even trying to hide that it is a DnD campaign instead of pretending to be something more serious and I’m all in for it.

I immediately chuckled at the use of the anachronistic music from the jump this week. This show is goofy as hell and very far from perfect but I am enjoying the heck out of it. 

The problem is that those panels get covered in dirt because of the Martian winds.

They did a pretty good job showcasing some things around the Bay Area that aren’t the usual (Big Sur, Bixby Bridge, Mono Lake, redwoods, McVay Cove, the ferry building, and many more).
