...please, WBD, fire whoever thought that rebranding “HBO Max” to just “Max” was a good idea. You’re spending way too much on someone with the wit of overheated mayonnaise...

Interesting...

Aye, its not “the future of filmmaking”, just as CGI wasn’t.
The Stagecraft stuff is an utterly fantastic technology, without question. It could use some improvements, just as any new tech could, but it expands the options for filmmakers and showrunners enormously.
Their options are either retcon it out of existence (which will confuse and turn off more casual fans) or try to salvage it.
Yeah, I’ve been wondering that as well. He’s really had only one irreplaceable point, the flashback to his rescue, which was a fantastic scene, but it’s isolated enough that it could just be a point shoehorned in to give him some relevance.
Yeah, I’m in the “This was great!” camp.
Yeah, it kinda felt like they had done the whole “Wait Din has claim to the Darksaber and Bo can’t have it!” as a cliffhanger that they hadn’t really thought about how to resolve at the end of Sesaon 2.
To be fair, Disney did it quite sparingly, and even now they don’t advertise nearly as heavily on the voice talent by comparison to their competitors. But yeah, 100% stolen from the Dreamworks playbook, just cranked up to 11.
Lets be clear about it, this is one of those “feature, not a bug” situations.
The channel its posted on, however, is also a fairly curious. It comes, not from a history or policy channel, but from Modern Muscle, a fairly popular YouTube channel with around 306,000 subscribers and several videos with views in the millions. From what I can tell, 99 percent of his content is car related.
Yeah, this is needed but still disappointing.
First: “Andor is better than the Mandalorian” is a take so cold it can be used to calculate 0 Kelvin.
Mmm, I see what you mean.
I don’t think they should be, frankly.
Meanwhile, in the Expanded Universe, Force users are eating planets.
Mandalorians should be able to hold their own against Jedi, they should be out in the galaxy wrecking shit—not hiding in a cave by Turtle Lake.
I mean, I very firmly disagree, but yeah, no character’s going to appeal to *everyone*, don’t begrudge you your view :).
