Its not about liking other games. It's about TESO being a hot mess. As an MMO player since Meridian 59 and Neverwinter Nights on AOL, I found it to be a very poor MMO. People that quit WoW to play it are usually expecting a WoW killer. TESO is not that.

If you want to make a proper sports RPG, it would help if you used a proper sport. Soccer is not the way to go. If you are going to go that low, might as well start with something that takes a bit more talent... like curling.

Pandarian start as neutral through their starting zones and chose what faction to join at the end of it. There is a player who has leveled his Pandaren and never chose a faction nor left the starting area. He is level 82 with no faction.
