I drive slightly offset so I can see brake lights. Of course this falls down when the number of cars driving around with brake lights out is shockingly high.

When I’m in a traffic jam I try to look at the brake lights 2 cars ahead. Can’t do that if you can’t see through the car in front of you.
Plus, waving “thanks” in traffic when someone lets you in is just like, common courtesy. I’m not opening my window when it’s Satan’s Ballsack hot outside to do that. This whole no rear window idea just gets the hardest of nopes from me.
It’s less safe. Makes a better door than window. Drivers immediately behind it can’t see through the vehicle. It’s a fact that this results in higher percentage of rear end crashes.
I’d make a snarky Bud light comment, but the truth is I never drink light beer. Because I’ve tried it.
If carbon is what matters?
The carbon math all says MPGe is just a fancy way to lie about performance
first gear: “That enables companies to push even thirstier internal-combustion models”
Which is great, but I’m talking about pure drive experience, how should I put this. A Plaid doesn’t make me want to buy one specifically to enjoy it, keep the miles low, Sunday/Funday type of stuff, They all just kind of become a car. In other words, you buy a Plaid so you can enjoy a Lamborghini even if it is slower,…
I have a tough time being convinced an All EV successor will be any different from a plaid, or the Taycan, or even a honda E for that matter outside of “this one accelerates .3144444444448th of a second faster”. I haven’t driven a huge amount of EVs, but the ones I have (Model 3, I-pace, some Hybrid EV modes) once you…
Smart move. Thanks to those stupid TG events, for many years my dog would get upset if I sat down at the sim racing rig.
So I should buy that old Spark EV for the 400tq and front wheel burnouts?
typos are totally fine just like... man it is super demoralizing to have my work, even grunt work like this, compared to text generation stuff.
I took delivery of a fully loaded white Core about 2 weeks ago and I share the same sentiments. It’s a phenomenal car that harkens back to the 2000s when STis and EVOs ruled the roost. It feels old school and new school at the same time. The new school stuff is mostly imperceptible to the driver. The engine shakes and…
At least if it was a hatch I could put some mud flaps on there and cosplay a rally car. I still cannot fathom why they only make the sedan.
Still ugly as hell, and still not available as a hatch.
I assure you, the A-Class feels really rather flimsy. Mercedes-Benz seems incapable of making a good transverse-FWD car, and it shows. I’d wager the Civic and MAZDA3 feel nicer than the A-Class.
My point exactly. The other boob that replied doesn’t get it.
That’s what happens when you have industry shills making up the rules.
This is the danger with regulations. Someone is going to justify shoving a loophole in there. And contrary to popular sentiment, lawmakers aren’t dumb, they design those loopholes to look innocuous while being the size of Montana.
