Yeah, that statement is akin to saying there is no drought in XX, because there is plenty of rain in YY.

While you are there, why don’t you also have them install the parts? I hear Crappy Tire has the best Porsche service. LOL
Naaaah, I can just go to Canadian Tire and get some cheap Munro shocks and struts, and the low-end bushings. That’ll be, what, six hundred bucks? ;)
Allow me to introduce you the wacky world of Mercedes-Benz W123 diesel estates.
You should check out the prices on used Tacoma’s and 4Runners.
The IMS is not an issue by 08 and besides even if it was, no car goes this many miles with an ims that is going to fail. DME reading shows no over revs, which is more important than operating hours (which hours divided by miles will show average speed (to substantiate claims of lots of highway miles??). If owner has…
What happens at these “over-rev events”? Are they only for PCA owners too?
Still waiting on one that has been built right I guess. I’ve come to terms that the manual is dead but normal autos have gotten so good what is the point of the CVT. Of the few I’ve driven they were pretty terrible in their responsiveness.
“Do the myriad sounds and sensations of tossing a car down a bendy road disappear?”
Caught by “phrasing.”
It is not just the current Gen, the SI has NEVER EVER EVER had an automatic, EVER. Hope I cleared that up.
My stinkin’ Outback has simulated shift points that you can’t get rid of. What the fuck is the point of a CVT if they are going to make it “shift”
It’s not a matter of being hard, it’s a matter of having FUN while driving, instead of driving a two-pedal transportation appliance.
CVT’s with paddle shifters are among the dumbest things in cars today. If you want gears to shift, get an automatic. If you want to select gears, get a manual. If you want to spend your commute in a soul-crushingly boring “premium” small sedan, get a CVT.
Are you telling me the CIVIC, of all cars, is going to be sans a Manual-Transmission option going forward. Good lawd are we a soft society at present.
I heard that they wanted him to color his hair to look younger for Indy 4 but he declined, and I didn’t think he looked too bad then (he looked fitter than me, and while I’m not 65, “fitter than me” is admittedly a pretty low bar), but at 78, yikes. Watching him “beat” that monstrous Russian guy was probably the most…
Harrison looked too old in Crystal Skull, which was now 13 years ago. Every fight scene you would wince because it looked like somebody’s grampa was getting beaten to a pulp.
I assume you are referencing Crystal Skull with the “ants, aliens, Nazis”?
Love my Mk7.5 but will not buy a newer GTI unless they move back to knobs and buttons. Come on VW... The GTI is supposed to be driver’s car not another video game on wheels.
Mk7 owner here. No plans to get the Mk8 based on looks alone.
