Hi there, im your local engineer that works on aircraft air management systems.

You people? Some of these loathsome and vile people that have to travel over the holidays have a reason other than stuffing the mouths full of stuffing with their kin. College students that are heading home as universities shut down until after the new year and people that have to normally travel for business heading

It is the oil filter but if you look at the base it’s mounted on, it has the coolant lines running to it. For reference:

No hatch means more stiff. You can only carry about two parts of bugger-all in there anyway.

Power gains might look small on paper, but a jump in peak torque from 156 lb.ft @ 6400 rpm to 184 lb.ft @ 3700 rpm should make a huge difference to the responsiveness of the engine.

I don’t buy that argument. They already “compromised” other parts of the ohhhh-so-awesome-light-sport-car-holy-grail-mold by making it a 2+2 instead of a strict two seater, offering it with an automatic, and a few other non-ohhhh-so-awesome-light-sports-car-holy-grail-mold things. Would the addition of turbos really

Looks bloated, 25 more hp, 28 more tq, and no turbo.

I feel like the front end design makes the car look kinda tall. Almost Cayenne SUV like. Don’t dig the smiley grill. But everything else looks great! I’m glad they stuck with a bigger displacement NA engine. Fast responding NA engines are just so much better.

And here’s the money answer right here. True statement, and thats what pisses me off about the car. Same with Porsche and the Cayman. I think they need to think less about competing product lines, and think more about the next car up the ladder that this thing could take on.

Having built a 90s era CRX with forced induction... Please do tell me about the very real tradeoffs that would have made me not want to do that.

It still surprises me how hundreds of people can agree that something hideous is actually good.
Because that’s essentially what happened. The designers, middle management, focus groups and upper management all somehow agreed this was a great idea.

im worried about the environment should i buy something that took a lot of resources to create to replace the thing i just bought that i dont use that also took a lot of resources to create as i have been doing very often..... drive the damn si into the ground. which at the rate hes putting on miles might be before

It’s Jalopnik. The (incorrect) assumption among writers here is that no one who actually cares about driving dynamics spends more than $20k on a car. Or buys a car with a luxury badge. Or buy a two seater not called MX-5 / Miata.

That original Z4 hit all the right spots. It was an improvement on every aspect of the Z3, but managed to not lose sight of what was good about the Z3. The suspension was better, interior was better, and the engine selection was great.

I had a 2006 Z4 3.0 si and I loved that car, except for the sticky lifter issue that started with only 12k miles on the odo. But what really gets me about the new Z4's is how big they’ve gotten yet how little space there is inside. The original Z4 was a surprisingly roomy car inside; it’s a *large* part of why I

The Fit (Jazz) in Europe usually comes equipped with a 1.2L 88hp engine. By comparison, the 1.5L 130hp engine in the US Fits is a performance monster. Almost 50% more power.

I’ll take bland over Civic Type-R. That said, I’m going to wait to pass judgement until I see the whole thing.

Not everyone needs a 6,000 pound truck to take their wives out to Hometown Buffet in.
