That doesn’t any sense to me either.  You can put the seat back pretty upright in a Cayman.  Has an adjustable steering wheel as well.

It only takes one buyer to decide what something is “worth”.  Not your opinion ;-)

IMS went away in 2009 with the new 9A1 direct injection engine.  Besides not having an IMS it has a much more robust oiling system and stronger rod bolts.  Sadly far fewer 987s were built after 2008 so if you try to find one be ready to pay 50-100% more than an earlier Cayman.

I owned a 2006 Cayman S for 6 years. Crack pipe here, at least given the lack of information. If the suspension is original, budget at least $3000 to freshen it up (DIY, more if paying a shop). There’s no mention of the clutch; most wear out between 75k-100k miles. That’s $2500-3500 parts in labor at a shop for a new

I prefer motorboating women, not cars.

Honda stopped selling the Civic in Japan over 10 years ago.  It’s too large.

The Accord went full auto in 2020.  They were sneaky about it and didn’t put out a press release.  Just...stopped making them.

How did I miss the news that the 11th gen Civic wasn’t having a manual option for the non-Si model? And offering a CVT only is just salt in the wound.

lol, who gives a shit about how fast an appliance hits 60 or 80 mph?

Well over half of the Mk7 GTI’s sold had 6sp manuals.

I own a 2017 GTI (6sp manual Sport). I have no interest in the Mk8. I think it looks ugly. It’s bigger. It’s more isolated. And no more manual emergency/parking brake.

I don’t recall any critical reviews like this for An Inconvenient Truth.  How strange.

What a horrible, horrible mess.

Oh bravo, a speed limit stickler

Tell me why cars don’t need to go faster than 85 mph on a public road.

Oh I dunno, maybe because you can do whatever the f you want with the car when you’re not on public property.

Is this still a car forum?  Or a place where people just bitch and moan.

Advancement and proliferation of nuclear power is literally, the only, way forward for energy generation and clean air for the future of Earth. Wind and Solar are laughable in comparison to nuclear, and almost any other form of centralized power generation. It should stop being ignored and dismissed over what if

Surprise!

I mean, given the hostility and foot dragging in Washington about a national storage facility, aren’t most nuclear plants holding their spent fuel on site? I.e. the plant near me is also storing it’s nuclear waste. Which I’m fine with.
