Porsche has no plans to electrify the 911 (at least not for another decade).
The problem is you cannot manually control the exhaust flaps.
Are stealing stereos still a thing? They’re so model specific at this point - seems pretty stupid.
His budget is $40k. The rule, when buying Porsches, is to always buy the nicest S model you can afford.
Unfortunately you moved to the least car friendly state in the union (ranked by governments), and a horrible city for driving. But assuming you can escape traffic and actually enjoy your vehicle there may be hope for you.
No that makes sense, given the wide range you require. But you and I both know that’s the not the case for most people. I actually own a GTI for my DD and its a lot of fun. Thankfully no need here for extra ground clearance.
It’s not “them”. It’s the automakers and journalists that say “nobody buys hatchbacks”. They do, they’re just raised up a few inches and relabeled something else. Sorry if my comment was a bit confusing.
I’m not sure you fully understood my comment. I agree a coupe version of a vehicle is more expensive than a sedan. But find a modern example of a sedan/coupe car where the coupe is 40-50% more expensive than the sedan. There are none.
I mostly agree, to a point. All those engines listed are still inferior in character to naturally aspirated engines. And personally I have a serious bone to pick with the Ferrari V8s, because they sound absolutely horrible at low rpms. Like a fart can Civic with an eBay turbo.
“Audi is already there. Mercedes is there. Jaguar has been there, and BMW has the iX3 going on sale in Europe soon and an all-electric crossover for the U.S. market coming next year. So why has GM been stalling with Cadillac?”
Careful, that’s a borderline racist comment.
Most turbo cars, esp modern ones, are completely lacking in engine character. Very sterile. And very not special.
People that buy small CUVs need to be honest with themselves and realize that they just bought a hatchback with a 4-6" lift, nothing more.
and?
Sir, you have won the internet for today.
Possibly. But the insane amount of money they developed to it’s development (billions, though to be fair that includes tech that will be applied to many more vehicles) has definitely hurt them financially, and has also resulted in their mainstream vehicle line up suffering as well.
“And I don’t know if BMW having more electric stuff to sell right now would’ve saved its bacon this quarter, but it would’ve helped.”
LOL
They’re tanks.
