Yeah sorry they are delusional, with their stated “targets”.  Those exist only in fairytale land, thus delusional.

They’re all idiots and are doing a lot to hurt the image of people/politicians pushing for meaningful climate change solutions.  Major turn off.

Well I still do.  I’m 6'2" 185 so it’s not like I can lose much more.  IMO most people that take their cars to the race track aren’t that fat.

Counterpoint, the model that Car and Driver drove cost $66,500.

I’m guessing you haven’t driven FWD and mid engine RWD cars on track?  The way they suffer from understeer is quite different.  As is the way to account/get around it.

Minor point, but if you read the whole Car and Driver article they also state that the interior is the best one yet for a Corvette.  Overall they really liked it.  You putting emphasis on them “dinging” the interior seems a bit misleading.  My take from their article is that the car is too tame, not special enough,

You can’t hide those FWD proportions.

I mean a lot of people listen to her music in the first place, ergo they’re idiots.  So yeah, idiots.

That depends actually.  Most Formula E tracks these days are set in city locations.  Cities are more open to hosting them because they’re not loud.

Oh I totally get that and agree.  However, the Formula E organization (supposedly) “offsets” all their CO2 emissions.  Which IMO is just a feel good gesture, as that’s almost always a scam of some sort.

It takes about 2 minutes of logical thinking to realize those drivers are getting screwed financially, especially the ones that pick you up in brand new (or close to it) cars. It’s sad that something this obvious is newsworthy, lol.

They should probably stop racing in a country that holds over 1,000,000 citizens in concentration camps.

Exactly.  If climate change is an existential threat (which many people in the FIA believe to be true) then F1 should be canceled entirely, and all efforts thrown into Formula E.  But that won’t happen, because it’s self serving.

Oh no, think of the cacti!

Sorry, I’m not a Jalop weekend reader >.<

Audi A8's engine is mounted longitudinally, so...?

Not even close to a Boomer, but apparently putting driving skill and responsibility high on the list excludes younger generations?

It’s hard to say, given how horrendous people’s (as a whole) driving as become. 5000 lb tanks with 20 airbags and radar and auto stop and a lot of them don’t give two shits about driving well, or the people around them.

ABS and air bags are fantastic, and I’d hate to not have either! But yeah, one of my car doesn’t. Very little nanny state about either feature either, that wasn’t my implication.

Wow, based on the company’s statement I would have to agree with Mack. They’re fucked. Second sentence is to highlight new features to your infotainment systems? LMAO. And the focus is on EVs, a money loser and 5% at best segment of the market.
