It’s obviously not going to be sold in the US because it doesn’t meet Honda of America’s high standards for ugly car designs.

If we’re being honest here, a dick shaped online in the snow is more attractive than a current generation Honda Civic.
It looks amazing, but the powertrain is not my style. For similar money one could get a 981 Cayman GTS. Seems like a no brainer to me (gimme the Porsche).
I think it looks horrible in every application. Not a fan. Though on the list of design atrocities committed by car designers these days it’s pretty far down.
Subaru concepts are nothing but teases. They never remotely resemble the cars that end up getting paid. True for a lot of automakers, but I feel like Subaru is worse than most.
Uber!
Two features I don’t really care about but I bet the car would beep at you with malfunction warnings.
One great thing about NC, no front plates. I feel like front plates make sense for northern states with a lot of ice/snow/road salt, to increase the chances that at least one plate is readable. If that’s not the justification for it, then I’m at a loss.
CVT = nonstarter.
From the front it has a strong resemblance to being a CUV. Maybe this is intentional, given that craze, but I think it makes it look pretty fat and chubby for a sedan.
Looks horrible in person.
I’ve driven a CVT equipped Impreza in the CO Rockies with 800 lbs of humans on board. Talk about a slow miserable freaking drive.
Pure handling...and driver enjoyment. The driving experience isn’t comparable. MQB platform is a cheap economy car platform, not a sports car platform optimally designed from the beginning. The numbers on track can be similar (extra power and an AWD bandaid are amazing things) but the way the cars will feel is worlds…
NP. My club was High Tach Motorsports.
Sounds like a lot of fun actually.
It probably felt pretty fast given it’s crap handling!
I truly don’t understand the average car buyer in 2019. What kind of idiots buy the CH-R?!?
Hey guess what what? They’re not mutually exclusive. Also that Mustang’s engine (and everything else about it) sucks.
Yes I used to have an S2000 and yes to the car club in NC(and SC) but there was no overlap between the two.
I’ve been contemplating a restoration of my DB2 GS-R for the last few years.
