Poor comparison man. Honda VTEC engines love to be spun up to 8000 rpm. It’s fun and it sounds good. The FA20 in the BRZ revs to 7400, but is nowhere near as smooth and sounds horrible in the process.

Guess what fancy pants, those stock rollbars aren’t approved at most tracks. Good luck getting onto VIR with those stock rollbars.
That’s why I sold mine, didn’t wanna install a rollbar. But you’re off a bit on dates. S2000 was discontinued in 2009, which is only 8 years ago. Not 14. 14, where the hell did that come from man?!
What would I want? Perhaps a car that’s more than barely faster than my 25 year old Integra GS-R.
If you think the current V6 Camaro sucks, then you haven’t been paying attention.
GTHO of here with that elitist crap man.
You’ve got to be out of your GD mind if you think it would cost Subaru $30,000 to increase the BRZ’s performance by installing AN EXISTING TURBO ENGINE under it’s hood.
Yes but unfortunately it’s not the K20A engine. And that one letter makes all the difference.
“The BRZ’s underhood is already tight, now try adding a turbo, intercooler, all the piping, and oils lines. It’s doable (the aftermarket has done it plenty of times), but it’s likely going to take considerable engineering effort.”
BRZ. That car deserved a 2.5 liter engine from the beginning. Hobbling it with a 2.0 liter engine that sounds horrible when thrashed just isn’t that much fun. Agreed that it wasn’t meant to be a modern S2000, but it was originally supposed to be cheaper than it ended up being. Instead it came in a few thousand…
Eh? A new Civic hatch has a 1.5 liter turbo.
If only there was a way to pay someone or a business a certain amount, on a per day basis, to drive a vehicle wherever you like.
Yeah I can’t believe they did that shit AGAIN in this film. Was one of my biggest issues with Prometheus.
Apologies, I missed that “used” comment. If we’re staying JDM though I prefer the IS.
It’s ridiculous (and stupid) to regulate boutique cars like this. Their production numbers are so low, plus their owners hardly ever drive them, meaning their environmental impact is effectively zero.
Yeah I don’t think Acura got the message. It’s still ugly and has an overwrought grill.
Except the TLX SH=AWD model starts at $42,000 and for that kind of money you can do a lot better.
Hey jackass, stick to reporting about things automotive and leave the politically biased crap outta here. Stuff like this is just ridiculously dumb:
“possibly leading to hundreds of thousands of direct and indirect deaths annually,”
Or you could just consult global sea level charts and realize there’s very little to worry about.
Just put a deposit down on a Sportwagen! $5000 off MSRP and 0% financing lured me in.
