Oh, totally. At the beginning of the episode I was all, "FEMINISM!" and then by the end of the episode I was all, "Oh. Not feminism."

I am Team Liam's Brother. I can't believe I want to see a movie about car racing and shirtless male bonding. The trailer hinted at shirtless male binding, at least to me.

Mine too!

Editing my Bible to include #4 because that book needs a little more real-world advice.

Jaden Smith is a small boy. He is saying small boy-ish appropriate things. Therefore, I shall move on to eating this jelly bean I found on my desk.

See, I would expect them to be more like Mr. Glass and whoever Bruce Willis was in Unbreakable (Captain Unbreakable? Mr. Stone? Papa Steel? I would IMDB it but this is more fun). Or for their friendship to result in the universe collapsing in on itself. Physics. How does it work?

Continent Walker actually sounds pretty badass.

I served in the Peace Corps in Mongolia and, besides straight up awesome names like 90 Ravens, I heard a lot of superstitious names. If a family had a baby who died they would hesitate to name a new baby for a long time or name it "Not This" or "No Name". Adding the word "Hero" to another word is common in Mongolian

Praise Om!

The best in my family are Experience Mayhew, a dude, who was actually kind of awesome because he was bilingual in English/Wampnoag and later learned Pequot (all the better to convert you with, my dear, but—nonetheless!) Also a Mayhew but a girl: Innocence (bet you didn't see that one coming!). A Stuyvesant: Pain.

I thought it was an anti-masturbation message.

My great grandmother Constance and her siblings Temperance and Prudence would approve. As do I, Ambitious.

"Abuse-not"? Were these people just trying to give themselves a reminder?

And my alma mater as well! I think the banning is a giving too much credit to the song, but I applaud their intentions completely.

Where are all the comments supporting the author? I'm seeing people saying they think the song is stupid or tired but not all that offensive, a silly gif, a grammar correction, a bunch of complaints about censorship, someone who is responding in the way you characterize, an "as a father...", a bunch of people parsing

He's got pretty decent legs. I think the shorts work for him. He should be joining her in the short shorts revolution, not trying to stop it!

I don't find Blurred Lines to be the worst song ever, and I'm a little surprised at the outcry. I dislike the video, but I don't think the song is that much worse than most other sexually-charged pop songs.

The student union, as a private organization, has the right to choose what music they do and do not play in their buildings. Calling this censorship is akin to calling me a censor for not listening to the song in my home, for whatever reason.

When I saw the original post on Tumblr, I took it to mean he was in solidarity with his daughter, that he was showing her and her mother that there was nothing wrong with short shorts. Judging by the comments on the post, lots of other people took it the same way. This makes it much less awesome. :(
