Great details, thanks!

That’s a shame. I played it casually with a small Outfit, so I spent much time joining randoms without coordination. Killed the fun eventually, and I tapered off. I wasn’t into it enough to follow the eb and flow of patch/balance/feature quality.
Maybe on a fast PC, but the loading times were noticeable on Xbox One. Not horrible, mind you, but annoying when it boils down to: Fast Travel to quest board/NPC, Fast Travel to nearest area, run 3 minutes, fight three monsters, Fast Travel back to NPC, turn in quest, realize while looking for the next quest that you…
And here I thought we were having a discussion, not flinging insulting crap around.
PC gaming doesn’t work in our household. I like to share games with my family, not take turns on a Steam account.
If you want that sort of thing, check out PlanetSide 2. Great world PvP with territory capturing, etc.
I’m having trouble being excited for PvZGW2 when I’m being charged $80 for it. Co-op play is my main preference, so unless that mode has significantly improved since the first, I won’t be touching it over $30.
Monk was my first character and it’s very versatile. DPS, tanky, healy, buffy, teleporting around or debuffing the crap out of enemies. I’m not sure how it plays these days, nor at end-game. I don’t play very much nor often.
I’m not sure why, but I just couldn’t stay with it. Same with Fallout 4. I think I got distracted by large games in other genres like AC: Syndicate (I got Witcher 3 late).
I picked up Mad Max on sale a few weeks back, and I’m loving it. I figured it would be a mediocre $30 of entertainment from the way it was received in the press, but damn... it’s fun. And I’m no Max megafan or car nut or anything.
I need to finish AC: Syndicate. I’m on the final Memories, I keep getting distracted by side stories, though. I think subconsciously I just don’t want it to end, but my Xbox One needs the HDD space.
I was just checking the official site, and the game’s features list suggests most of the world is PvE, but Dark Zones are the dungeon equivalent, so you take a group/squad. You can work together with multiple groups or PvP others.
Then don’t go there, or go with a squad that communicates and understands teamwork, and you’ll outclass the average group of randoms.
I’d rather show what the engine is capable of, if I were in their shoes. I’ve never understood why people feel ripped off that a console version doesn’t live up to an early tech demo. TECH being the operative word. Showing off the Technology’s capabilities.
The idea is that you can’t just run wherever you like in the city, so part of the gateway mechanic to keep you from those tough areas with the best loot is for damage and armour to have a large range as you level up.
I’m incredibly excited for this game. I’m not big on competitive shooters, and most good shooters focus mainly on that aspect. I rarely find a fun co-op shooter, and this looks right up my alley.

First, you’d better stop waving it around like a feather-duster!
I remember as a Marvel-loving teen when I heard they were killing Superman, that entire Death/Return of Superman series is almost the only DC in my collection.
Some closed betas will give you a free amount of store cash to see how people spend, as well as to encourage testing characters (or whatever store stuff) that free players wouldn’t normally buy or test.
