There's nothing wrong with liking the ending. It's just that a lot of people didn't. You can always keep things the way they are by not buying any DLC if it changes things - like not buying Broken Steel for Fallout 3.

When I posted that in the Tips section, nobody paid much attention. =/

The ending was comparable to Return of the Jedi; if it had ended right after Luke rejected the Emperor's goading to turn to the Dark Side.

Who is "they" in this context?

Here's the thing some of the protesters and all of the counter-protesters seem to be missing. That wasn't the ending. That was never meant to be the ending.

It wasn't sarcastic. The great writing of Mass Effect went into a tailspin precisely because Bioware's writing team was cut out of the ending process. The ending instead became a circle jerk for a couple people who couldn't be stopped before it got submitted.

But they've got the same godlike, exposition machine all set up for a Dragon Age ending. @_@ "This is what the darkspawn taint really is! Blahblahblah."

No sweat. Hope that helps.

Using a team? That's not what I heard.

All right, you know what? I take all that back. You want to vent on Kotaku covering this again? That's your prerogative and I shouldn't be lecturing anyway.

You can find the footage on Youtube if you don't plan to finish the game any time soon. It's hard to explain and kind of needs to be seen.

Well, it does kind of encapsulate the idea of the game. Maybe if there was more, I don't know, overgrowth or debris to really capture the desolation.

And my point is that your outburst has no impact as to whether or not this conversation happens. It serves no real purpose and can only serve to annoy people who want to participate.

At the end of the game, Shepard heads into the beam where he's confronted by an AI that takes the form of a small child. This thing pretty much takes credit for the creation of the reapers and gives a lot of exposition about what their purpose is.

Counter-opinion? I can't seem to recall you stating an opinion. You were just going off on the fact that the ending was being covered again.

From what? ME3 or DA:O?

You're not objecting to the topic. You're giving other people a hard time for still being interested in it when you're not.

Oh dear lord...I just realized. The God child from ME3. The God child from DA:O. They're fixated on that concept.

Ah. "Chainmail bikini".

God only knows what's going to happen to Dragon Age 3. o.o
