I thought it was just another Cerean, but credits confirm that yes, that's him.

Unless presented with evidence that it isn’t Qimir, I’m going to refer to the master as Darth Bortles.

The lack of media literacy in the reviews and reactions to this weeks episode is staggering.

Well, my first thoughts when perusing the article is that we need James McAvoy as Xavier to reprise and continue in the role prepared for him.

Chris Claremont is straight and white and he defined the X-Men.

ironic given what happened to Cobie in the MCU (still burned over that)

So, why when adapting an existing property, studios will go for the hotshot flavor-of-the-month writers at the time, and not just go with writers who actually know and love the source material their adapting?

This is the one time I wouldn’t mind “homework,” in that I can watch a good 8 to 10 episodes of good setup before leading into a 2 hour movie. The X-Men are perfect for that formula.

TV show, TV show, TV show. The x-men franchise as a whole is so dense (plot wise) that 2 hours every 3 years won’t do it justice.

Every movie starts with a script”

Think we could get a cameo from Tori Amos in there?  Or at least a spot on the soundtrack...

Karen Gillan also did this, appearing in the same episode as Peter Capaldi first did, the fires of Pompeii, before returning to play Amy Pond.

Logan had a room in the Summer House, which was for the Summers family. His room, Jean’s room, and Scott’s room were all linked without doors. Scott wanted to take Logan on their family vacation because he thought it would be nice to have Logan there with them. Like my guy, they’re a throuple.

The problem is that it’s not just a risk for the person who consumes it now. If enough humans get bird flu and it starts to mutate in a way that makes it transmissible between humans, we’re screwed.

I am a simple man. You reference Red Dwarf, you get a star.

Space Babies is your basic mid-season RTD story, with some additional episode 1 infodumping for D+ subscribers. Doesn’t ask very much of the viewer, but lets you know the show hasn’t changed too much from post-2005 Who. The Devil’s Chord is a balls-to-the-wall “this is what the show is like now in 2024" ride.

I’ll take “Jedi John Wick” any day over the synopsis I heard for The Skeleton Crew.

You’ ve just described Starkiller from Force Unleashed, who Id love to see show up in live action

I don’t watch any sci-fi or niche genre shows till they’re approved for a second season for one simple reason, they almost always end their first season on a cliffhanger. And to make it more annoying, it’s generally a “this changes everything!” type of cliffhanger. So fuck it, I’ve been burned enough and can wait for

Only note on your recaps is on Space Babies because RTD crammed a lot into it. What if we use space babies and a snot monster as a metaphor for how conservatives treat life in the womb vs once they’re out.
