I quite liked the documentary approach he took too.

There's a really really REALLY good Droid designer who makes all manner of proper droids to cruise around at DragonCon by remote control. When I went over to have a nice close look, SUDDENLY PHOTOGRAPHERS! AT LEAST FIFTY OF EM! Well, I wasn't missing out. I had one of em get a pic of me with a Timelord's Best Friend.…
The dead dead eyes of the cosmetically transformed pair in the op's picture above make me creepily aroused. Can I have some robots that look like them? Well... not the one on the right. She has weird nose.
We've been doing a new Trek audiodrama for the last 4 years over at Giant Gnome Productions called Star Trek: Outpost. It's set during the time of the next generation, but before the dominion war. Essentially, the story of Deep Space Three, on the edge of what could be called the bermuda Triangle of the Milky Way. …
J.M.Straczynski pitched a really awesome idea for a trek series. When Paramount stole the idea, they called it Deep Space 9. He's since pitched a rebooted version of the Trek series with Kirk, Spock, McCoy and the like only with an updated premise... Where DOES Paramount get their stunning ideas from?
Second that about the Pern series. One that CW killed back when it was still the WB and Ronald Moore was going to do it. They killed it cos it was going to be too faithful, and becuase Moore didn't want to 'melrose place' it up with young actors.
And yet we still can't get Ronald Moore on a Pern series. *sigh*
Oddly, whatserface that was in Firefly and V as Diana would be the perfect Servalan.
Though I do remember Quesada saying we were all stupid for not liking X-Men 3. Here's hoping that movie was the wake-up call we needed that Brett "I can even fuck up a Hannibal Lecter movie." Ratner shouldn't be allowed within a light year of a movie camera again.
Please let grant be reprising his role as Shalka 9. Essentially setting him up as the 9 that was a mid-point between his being McGann and Eccleston after the time war. (Doctor 8.5) Entirely negating the need to have to cast Christopher in the role should he wish to continue being a spoiler and playing such…
Ya know… Johnny Mnemonic is a pretty darn valid example of industrial espionage. He's certainly a spy/smuggler who runs afoul of corp governments and crime rings.
I got no problem with f2p as long as I'm not getting nickel and dimed to death like it was a renaissance fair. Yeah Cryptic's model with Star Trek wasn't bad at all, and I didn't feel as though I were cheated. The flip side of that was Champions online.
I pre-ordered the game then played the beta. The experience was interesting right up til I hit my first 'Instantly one shot kill you zone' in a Kingsmouth basement. I decided right there this wasn't the game for me. Wasn't my style and tried to cancel my pre-order. They said they couldn't refund my money cos I'd…
Go get some from Big Finish… I figure they only have at least 200 by now.
Damn children.. something ought to be done about them.
Well... given that he MARRIED one of them, I wouldn't give that a lot of credence.
"Would you mind not standing on my chest? My hat's on fire."
This is exactly why I'd have loved to see the JM Straczynski retool of the show's concept instead. The questions he was asking in the pitch were "Why would you take the one of the most advanced heavy cruisers in your fleet. Give it to the youngest and most headstrong captain you can find and say, "Go out there and…
No, he didn't so much, but says he did. Get a look at the shot of the people walking around on the Abrams bridge that pans out and pulls away to the outside of the ship. The bridge complex on the new one is clearly the size of the Motion Picture Bridge complex, which was on a ship only slightly bigger than the TOS…
I will have to perform this...
