What a trio of legendary arcs. Nothing beats the shonen “rescue arc”

Thanks for making me aware of this, I love one piece to death but I fell off the anime hard due to filler and pacing, and while I also love Oda’s hand drawn art, the voice acting was also super important to me, so I eventually fell off that, too. Hopefully this can rekindle my one piece experience.

come on man, don’t reduce me to that. if you can’t put things off in the real world for 1-3 minutes while you log out or warp somewhere, that’s the bigger issue than not being able to pause.

I dont want to defend him...but i agree with Davey. He isnt ruining a natural resource. Its some old Gameboys. Plenty to dislike him over, but some collectors or fan being mad at him for this pretty petty on their front.

Repurposing old hardware also has its own value, even if it’s just sealing a bunch of them in acrylic. You can’t preserve everything that ever gets made, and you shouldn’t want to, either. The Game Boy itself is well preserved as a platform and there’s no shortage of different ways you can still experience it.

I wonder if Youtube has contry/ region restriction abilities. So maybe he wins the use of the videos and then has to win it in every other country but never in Japan? Or conversely, the videos remain down in japan but are immediately available elsewhere.

You really can’t turn this around into ‘perhaps it is u who are petty’ - the guy gleefully harassed and targeted minorities, and much of his anguish was that his website matured (to a degree) while he didn’t. The Something Awful website bankrolled his entire lifestyle even as he grifted and complained server costs…

To be honest, the Housing market’s way better on Montréal than Vancouver. I prefer to earn 80K - 90K in Montréal than 110k - 130K in Vancouver.

They’re raised by parents who teach them winning is the only reward in life and that any win is meritorious despite the dubious means to obtain the win.

Let’s be honest. This is a blatant rip-off, an unapologetic cash-grab, that looks like it was developed in a year with very clunky animations. This is just profiting off nostalgia while stealing from another game.

Water 7 through Enies Lobby is the best chunk of One Piece for me. From focusing on my two favorite characters in the series (and roping in a new one) to a bunch of great side characters, some fantastic fights, the leveling up of their conflicts with the Navy, alllll the ugly crying, and Luffy getting his first major…

For all the cool stuff that happens in all the arcs on One Piece, Enies Lobby is hands down my favorite. Most emotional, and also I feel like it had the highest stakes over its final fight. For all the times Luffy’s ended a fight beaten and battered, it never hit harder for me than at the end of that arc.

Enies Lobby turns me into a blubbering baby at three different points. Anyways who has read it can guess which parts.
