I feel like all of your concerns could be handled with some hardware and good programming :)

Eh... Two things prevent it from being better... Physics of only have one rear wheel which is a given. The second is the on board stability control. That nanny can indeed help you go faster, but at times it interferes in the corners a bit too much with the automatic braking and throttle retardation. They made it much

You lucked out! My Speed 6 had the turbo replaced for smoking, the transfer case and rear axle seal replaced due to leaking, and finally the long block was replaced at 117000 km due to oil consumption (thank god for extended factory warranty, I could kiss the original owner). On my own dime I had to replace the clutch

First off, forget about the argument that anything with four wheel needs to pass automobile safety regs.

I’ve always liked the idea of a street-legal 4-wheeler. And no I don’t care about the “learn to ride a motorcycle or get a convertible” argument, because I own both a motorcycle and a convertible that I drive regularly already - I just happen to like ALL fun things with engines!

My ideal would be something a bit lower

Mercedes once did

Yamaha Tesseract (2007)

That would be the Yamaha Tesseract concept.

Go look at any used mazda5 for sale and check out the rear fender lips they all have rust. I have seen 2013 mazda3 already with rust in the same spot. This is the issue to really look for. Are we seriously doing this? Are we seriously going to engage in this vapid, smug, equivocating exercise to tell everyone how woke we are?

Sounds similar to my experience with a Suzuki Samurai was in Aruba where we rented one and took it off-roading. That poor thing was beat to hell but we were taking it in tight places no modern Jeep would have gone and we just kept chugging along. The Jimny and Samurai are 100% legit.

I don’t think that’s what Porsche intended when they released their water cooled engines.

Well my word. That truck was decabitated.

Once you reach a certain age, pitching a tent gets harder and harder.

Haha looks that way to me! Good find...
