DU!AN Remorse

So I'm going to be tutoring a student in French — haven't done much with the French language since high school, so doing some research online. I think it's interesting that these phrases, in this order, were listed as "worth memorizing."

It doesn't matter. I auto-drafted. The only reason I'm in 1st is that the other guys (love you all), don't understand the rules or update rosters.

Super Bowl DUAN ish ...

There was a report in the Wall Street Journal about the track my greyhound came from (Tucson). Brutal, awful, place. He's lucky to even be alive.

Where are my glasses? How does this happen to me? There's 20 inches of snow outside. This is ridiculous.

Meh. You don't know sobriety until the court orders you to do it. Then it is great.

All of the above. The bottom line is, they don't know. A giant storm is hitting our state, but what about elevation, wind, etc? That's the problem with weather forecasting. They can predict, but who knows? Either way, everything is closed tomorrow (or today, East Coast people), based on this 6-20 inches prediction.

I'm not doubting the difficulty of weather forecasting, just questioning the people who stand on TV with a smile and say "somewhere between 6 and 20 inches". We have extremely varying surfaces, and I just sometimes wish that the weather people would say, "we don't really know."

So, haven't watched Letterman in years, but Drew's article and some of the buzz on Twitter sent me there. No one mentioned that he would meow. Oh, how I love cats.
