More local news. Apparently there is a "stand-off situation" near where I live. The story hasn’t been updated since Friday, so I guess we’re okay?

Honestly, it was boring. It didn’t make any sense. And it all kind of melted away from my mind after watching it, like those doodle pads you had when you were a kid, and you lifted the paper and the image disappeared.

This is a true story.

So you read this headline "Local band opens for U2" (Yeah, U2 was in town tonight and I still went to the Pirates movie) and you're thinking it's going to be a "local kids get lucky and get to play at Invesco" and you expect to read to some heartwarming story about how this all happened.

So while all of yous were enjoying fight night, I dragged myself and friend off to the Pirates new movie. I knew it would be bad. But bad doesn't even describe it. I was so unbelievably bored and the stupid 3-D glasses gave me a headache.
